Body and Build Types
The build and body types for my characters. :3 At least the litter of 10 ones... For those of you who draw/render my characters as part of a trade or request, it might be easy to follow these notes.
Steele/ Niju Build
----------------------------
Yakone (pictured): Should be the most Niju like out of the pups. Lean and well muscled, with Niju's broad chest but highly tucked in belly as it reaches the back legs. Should have hair sticking out midway on his muzzle like Niju- Not by the nose. Has Niju's eye spots. Large and very fuzzy chin.
Desna: Should be very Steele like with hair sticking out by nose like Aleu. Very well muscled arms. Surprisingly girlish eyes rather like Aleus. No eye patches. A little more tucked in and less buff than Steele but not by much. Smooth and sleeker chin.
Niko: Built almost just like Steele. Thick and muscular. Should still be lean in the middle, but out of Yakone and Desna he should be the thickest. Has hair around nose like Aleu. Has Niju’s eye spots as well, and NO whiskers but has many “muzzle freckles” by his nose. Steele sized chin with a little fuzz on it.
Old Style Balto Build

Nilak (pictured): Old style Balto, Kodi or the newer balto style could work for him really. He should have a large head and be a little scruffy like Balto. A little hair on the chin like balto. Looks pretty wolfish but cartoony. Has Balto’s eye style but the pupil and iris are both varying shades of blue, no black. A little tuft is optional, but he was originally tuft-less. Has HALF of Niju’s eye patch on the bottom part of his eye.
Sanak: The epitome of old style Balto. Builds are the same. Should have a scruff of hair on his head like Balto but NO hair on his chin. Has Aleu’s eye spots. His eyes should be Balto like and the pupils should be dark blue not black.
Kreni: Also very much like the old style Balto. Newer versions can be used but best with the old type. It should be noted that he has a blueish tint to his face, chest, belly, leg, ect. Markings. Follow and look at the markings closely, he shouldn’t be a Balto clone. Has about 2 hair “spikes” on his head, very faint compared the balto’s tuft.
Jenna Build
------------------------------
Spica (pictured): Is a little tricky, but is basically a Jenna build. Her legs should be made thicker and a little less fragile overall. Remember, Spica gets the sled-dog type of Husky build- so she has to look like she can pull some weight here. Dusty, Kodi or modified Aleu builds are also acceptable. She should have no tufts on her head and no hairs sticking out on her muzzle, like Jenna.
Aleu/ Newer Style Balto Build

Yildun (pictured): Should be most like the wolves seen in the 2nd movie. She should be more refined in build than Aleu and a little bit more like Aniu when she gets older. In her old age, I plan for her to take on a much more Aniu like build. As a juvenile and young adult she looks more Aleu-ish. Just remember to keep her sleeker and more graceful looking. No tufts.
Adak: Newer style Balto is best for him, but he can fit into the old type balto as well. He has a large tuft like Balto. He also has Niju’s eye markings and patch. No hair on his chin.
Aurel: Is the most Aleu like in terms of her build. New style balto also works. Kodi and Dusty work as well. She has Niju’s eye markings and patch but Aleu’s eyes.
**This by no means you must forfeit your own style to fit these!**
