Dakota, why?
Here's what happened...
"Hey, Dakota watch out!" Hazel yelped as Akito slashed at the red mutt's muzzle.
Dakota jumped back, his limbs shaking. He knew he would lose. Akito lunged at him, but he was able to dodge his attack. He growled, as flames burned around him. (shot above)
Akito lunged at him. Time seemed to slow as Dakota was slashed. He screeched, and grabbed Akito's neck, and threw him into the flames. Hazel ran up, but Dakota kept her from following. His blue eyes were dim, and his red fur singed and bloody. He howled a long good bye, and fell. Never to open his eyes again. Hazel yowled, "Dakota, why?! What about our unborn pups?!" She sat down next to him, a pool of blood surrounding him. He was lost forever in blood...
