Buddies
Polly (female Kirby) and Slushi (female Kodi) lol I'm really getting into this.
So here we have Slushi and her teammate, Polly. Slushi is leading Polly to work.
I'll let you guys think of a situation, as it can come in a few. lol
1. Polly is getting bullied for her weight and is afraid to stand up for herself, and Slushi who is passing by sees her teammate getting picked on. She steps in dramatically, making the situation reflect on Polly's bullies. Slushi being Slushi, she picks a fight and tells the bullies that her father is the town hero (along with intertwining that he is a fearsome creature LOL) and dares them to challenge her or Polly again. This of course, scares them off and Slushi walks off, keeping her cool gal act up, but not enough to leave her friend. Giving her a quick smile, ''C'mon, pal. We're runnin' late.''
2. Polly is new in town and is looking around and trying to get used to the new settings. She was from a breeder in Russia and was shipped over to Nome in great condition to Mr. Simpson. Though the other teammates didn't offer her any help yet, and she is so confused that it is along the frustrating side. So out comes Slushi out of an alleyway. She greets Polly and asks her what is wrong. Polly says that she's lost, and Slushi automatically offers her new friend a tour of Nome.
3. One of Mr. Simpson's older dogs had passed away. Polly is being sold from a former musher who was retiring and he realized Polly was too young of a dog for him to cooperate with. While taking a stroll, Polly bumps into Slushi. The two have a nice general conversation, and Slushi asks about Polly's collar; ''Hey, are you a sled dog too?''. Polly explains that her owner is selling her, looking for a new musher to keep her wits about her. Slushi almost automatically brightens up and tells her to come with her. Slushi and Polly venture through Nome towards a comfy little house. Mr. Simpson is sitting on the porch with a glum expression. Slushi barks, getting his attention and showing off her new friend. Polly's original owner is looking for her, so as he sees her with Slushi near Mr. Simpson's house, he asks if Mr. Simpson was looking for a new dog by chance. By that time, Mr. Simpson couldn't say no, as Polly was bathing him in kisses and love. Mr. Simpson buys Polly from her original owner, and thanks her new buddy, Slushi.

-Her name was chosen from a Nirvana song, but the song itself has nothing to do with her other than the name.-
-Polly is more compassionate than her male self, but still has that same, cocky, and work-driven personality. But on the bad side, she has low self esteem (i.e, the scenarios I gave). Slushi helps her out though.
-She and Slushi's relationship is up to you. Ship them as you wish lol
-She's supposed to be a mixed breed; probably along the lines of a Malamute mixed with an Alaskan Husky (the tipped ear).
-Her hind leg markings are uneven; I will make a ref for her later.
-Her tail is curly most of the time.
-She and Jack (male Dusty) are quite the riot together, and Jack brings out a mischievous side out of Polly.
Woo.. Finally done typing all of that up lmao. Any questions, feel free to ask! P.S, the scenarios and everything were before the movie, obviously. This idea is the spawn of boredom, caffeine, and headcanons.
Any ideas of who else I could make?

Now this is an au I could get into. I love Slushi so much, I will
definitely have to draw or render her sometime. This is super cute,
sis! < 3 Also, I wanna see a male version for Aleu maybe? I bet that would be so many levels of awesome if someone did it right!! (If not then I will LOL) |

Despite the fact that in my personal views I don't agree it homosexual
pairings in general, my biggest issue is it's not realistic for
canines. Sure, with humans it exists, but it doesn't in the animal
world. Theres a huge gap. It's against all animal instincts. It might
be an animated movie and therefore defined by some as "fantasy", but
it's still a bit bazaar. That's just me. Whatever for others really,
but like I said, it disturbs me because it's completely unnatural. (BTW, if you reply to this I suggest we continue in pms. Long conversations often spam artwork XD) |

Love the new designs! Kodi has such improvement I can't say it in
words! Kirby looks nice as well. I've never "shipped" any of the dogs.
It's awkward. It's weird in my opinion. And the fact of it being "fun"
only goes as far as it can without things getting insanely awkward.
One more suggestion, Kodi and Kirby probably could be female names, but why not give them a name that goes with their female self? It would be cool to see what people come up with XD |
