Always and Forever

Aniu dies when Balto is a pup. He lives with Boris, and enjoys his new home there, but, deep down inside, he misses his mother.

And so Balto has a dream of playing on the beach, when Aniu appears. She plays with him and talks with him, but soon must leave.

"But, Mamma," Balto whimpers, "I may never see you again."

"I will always be with you, my son," Aniu murmurs, "Always and Forever."

I made this in honor of my Aunty Joan, my mother`s sister. In many ways I believe she has lived on in me; I look like her, I like riding horses like she did, I hate softball with a passion......

Somehow I believe she was the reason why I went so long without falling off my horse, and, on the day I did, she was the reason why I`m still here.

RIP Aunty Joan :'D
