For The Prettiest Girl I've Ever Met...

"Whats that for?" Carly asked, starring as the sun glinted off the green gemstone. The brown male smiled. "For the prettiest girl I've ever met."

Carly felt her stomach clench. "Oh. You want me to give it to Malona." she said glumly.

Ryan titled his head to one side, the jewl swinging slightly on the blue ribbion. "Malona?" he asked, puzzled. "Why would I want to give it to her?"

Carly turned away, hiding the tears that had started to prick her eyes. "You said it was for the prettiest girl you'd ever met." she replied misrably.

"And it is."

Carly turned and saw Ryan holding the little green gem out to her. She blinked rapidly.

"I ment you." Ryan said softly.

Carly couldn't belive her ears. "W-what? M-me?"
