A seven nation army couldn't hold me back
For a moment, Archie could only note that all was still. The panicked whimpers of the sled team had vanished into the rhythmic, but distinctly muted, sounds of paws crunching into the fresh snow. The sun was not as warm on his fur now, and as he blearily looked up he could only make out a dark canine looming between him and the bear.
Then the stillness was gone as the canine let out a truly fearsome growl. The bear, the large, hulking brute of a creature, let out an ungodly roar.
Archie winced as he heard the deep and rather monstrous sound of the bear's massive paws scrabbling across the snow.

I really loved how this turned out... I was going to save it for when I finish up a few other renders but I guess I got anxious ahaha.
The picture is basically depicting what Archie can't fully see - Chase's return and the almost bewilderment the bear had for a brief second. This was very much Chase's last stand and his one moment of redemption.
