As soon as Omayok was out of ear shot, Yoli spun to face John, her eyes blazing firecly. "Are you trying to get him killed?" she demanded. The brown male simply blinked. "No. I could have handled it." Yoli glared at him. "Yeah, just like you could have handled the bear! Thats the second set of scars he's gotten because of you!" she snarled. John rolled his eyes. "Look, I can take care of myself." he said. "Then why don't you!" she snapped. Her fur bristling, she leaned close enough for him to see the green tinge of her eyes. "All I know is that he's risked his life for you sevral times already!" she bared her fangs. "I'm telling you now, if he gets killed because of you, it won't be a bear, wolf, or even mountain lion that spills your blo.od! It'll be me." she hissed.
