Lost On the Hunt
As the sun began to set in the deserted and open lands, Kiara realised the full extent of their isolation. It had been Pat's fault they were lost, but her mistake for even trusting he knew the way. As far as she was concerned, he was an idiot.
"Of for crying out loud!" she cursed, "Will you give it up, we're lost. And I doubt even you can find the way back, Sherlock."
"Hey, it isn't MY fault."
"You got us lost," she snarled, "You said you knew where you were going, clearly not."
"I did know where we were going, I just sort of lost the trail. Look, there's the tree that I marked on the way here."
"Yeah, and we've past it five times!"
"Look, would you like me to leave you out here alone? You find your way back- alone? 'Cause you can't find your way back to our territory from the first tree outside of it, and you still couldn't if one of it's branches slapped you in the face," he argued.
She was surprised by this, she expected him to shut up.
"Fine, you go. See if I care. I don't need anybody, and I certainly don't need you," she replied.
"No problem. You better go and find the next pack, maybe they'll be generous enough to bring you back," he snarled, "But, from the deepest, and darkest part of my heart, I hope they don't."
He left her with that, heading in a different direction, trying out his tracking skills again. Pat couldn't understand why they weren't working, now of all times. Usually, he'd go back for his hunting partner if they'd argued. But he didn't want to, at all. One thing was clear to him- he hated her.
Kiara didn't really think he'd walk away, but he did. She found herself heading off in the opposite direction to him, and she realised that she, already, hated everything about him.

So here we have Kiara and Pat, probably on their first hunting trip together after Dogatto declared them hunting partners. Therefore, Kiara began to argue with Pat, since he got them lost. Again, just the start of their many arguments and the beginning of their total hate for each other XD
Also, I'm changing Pat's eye colour to a nice shade of green, it fits realistically well and I like it, and it gives him a different colour scheme for his eyes as he had similar eye colours to Balto.
