Story: As Aleu got older, Buck stayed in Nome alot more often to teach her about herself, never revealing what she truly was. One night Buck decided to show Aleu her true beauty.
Buck: Look in your reflection Aleu, what do you see?
Aleu: Myself, of course
Buck: Yes, but look deep inside it to reveal...*gasp*
Aleu: What do you see, Buck?
Buck: It's...it's my father.
No, Buck is not seeing Balto. He is seeing his father Abel, the wolf that howled to Balto in the first movie. Abel was killed by his brother Cain, and now his spirit is revealing himself to Buck; trying to get him to accept his wolf heritage.
