'We don't need him anymore.'

Pat was making his way up towards the Alpha's cave, where Dogatto was talking privately to Shadow about which wolves would represent the pack in Warrior Falls' sled team.

'Then who at the front?' asked a voice which was clearly Shadow's, Pat moved towards the sound.

'I'm thinking Fletcher and...Eddie,' replied Dogatto firmly, at first Pat didn't see this a problem, he might be further back just for this particular race.

'What about Pat?' asked Shadow.

'We don't need him anymore,' Dogatto answered.

'Whatever you say, but I have a feeling your making a big mistake, Dogatto.'

Pat didn't move any further, he simply froze.

Nuu! Dogatto isn't having Pat on his sled team this year, what's going on?

Background editing- yes, I had to remove the rest of Balto's body that popped up because I didn't render the lines exactly, it's such fun! :D

Also, here's a rendering tip, if you ever want a character to blend into a background, but you want to keep the pixels, add a drop shadow and place the layer above your render layer. Then, simply scale the layer down by a few pixels and move it into a good space. You may want to lower the opacity on the layer and tadaa!
