In a movie it's not terribly important, Tross. This is mostly a fan-based argument that the producers, I am certain, probably don't give a single whit about.

Yes, Jersey, in real life yes, but in this movie it's a bit hard.

Apart from size issues, Tross, Siberian Huskies and Alaskan Malamutes DO happen to look almost identical. Not only in basic physical structure, but in coat markings and colors as well.

Wrong, Tross. I used to think that Steele was a Siberian Husky, but there is official proof that Steele was intended to be an Alaskan Malamute.

But I do have to agree with the collar thing though. The collar would be visible around the whole neck, not just on top of the neck. Though they can be harder to see on dogs with longer fur.

Well, thats what you think, Undertaker. Steele is a Siberian Husky, (as Jenn said).
And as so abot the collar, that is not visical that the collar ends suddently, because you see it in diffrent ways. It's not what you think, it still needs to be correct.

I think Steele is a Malamute because he is bigger than most of the Huskies in the movie.
And every time i wacth the movie, Steele's collar, for some reason, sudenly ends.
