Yes on both of those. I'm surprised Steele didn't die at all, even if he was Balto's rival and the all-out villain [other than the illness itself]. He could survive a very high fall, yet he couldn't deal with losing all his friends and his popularity. Odd...

The bear could have killed both Jenna and Balto actually, but Jenna bravely saved him... before he went under the ice, of course.

And the disease could have been fatal to Rosie too; the movie mentioned obvious death, yet it made it seem like everyone lived. So much for a true story - at least add the truth, right?

Yep, the Bear could of been fatal for Jenna, and that fall that steel made WAS fatal.
