After the Angpetu Pack was freed and the Anevay wolves fell, Titan escaped with Ethon, taking Rory with them, much to Jimmy's heartbreak. He and Illia had decided to split up. Jimmy trusted that Illia would be able to track Rory while he searched for Ava, his daughter, whom he had lost in the chaos of the battle in the Angpetu territory. He made his way to the open tundra as a blizzard was settling in. He started to run into the tundra, knowing that the freezing winds would kill him. But he needed to find Ava. He couldn't lose Ava and Rory. He wouldn't allow it. He couldn't even smell Ava, but he tried lying to himself that he did. He collapsed in the snow and began to cry - something he hadn't done since he was a pup.
Some time passed and Jimmy sniffled to a familiar scent: Lilly. Aside from earlier that day, he hadn't seen her in years. She had no knowledge of what happened to him, she was blind to his world. This was her first glimpse: him collapsed in the middle of a blizzard crying for his mate and child. He didn't even bother to turn his head to her, he was too upset from his embarrassment of Lilly intruding on such a private moment, furious that he couldn't protect Rory, and depressed that he lost Ava. He half-expected Lilly to coldly boss him to stand up in a huff and march him back to the Alsoome Pack, but he hadn't a clue who she'd become since their separation. If he had turned his head, he would've seen a reaction that he had never been given as a child, Lilly's pity.

So Lilly got another redesign. This one makes her more of a mix of her parents. I decided to give her a warm tone grey and Jimmy a cold tone, and this change is kinda a parallel to their depth. Originally, both were completely de-saturated and static characters (in terms of personality), but their designs and personalities have undergone more refining, resulting in more three dimensional personalities and appearances. To specify: Jimmy starts out his life with the warmer personality but ends up depressed (colder tones, such as the hint of blue he has, typically are used to represent sadness and can be masculine). Lilly starts out her life with an icy heart and ends up to be compassionate one (warmer tones, such as the tint of pink Lilly has, is usually associated with love and femininity.)
