Steele, reminded of his vain and self-adoring personality, stood up and brushed his silky, smooth tail across Iara's neck. ''I... suppose so...'' he said dryly, smirking to himself. ''If you like, I could involve you somehow in my nemesis' demise. Only the most unearthly and hell-worthy of punishments await those who betray me.'' he continued from the back of his throat. ''You know, Iara... I think we're going to be good friends.''
Iara let a dry chuckle escape her lips. ''You know, I was thinking more of /not/ being involved in your wonderful little scheme,'' she purred as the mutt's black and white tail brushed across her neck. ''Believe me, I enjoy any gorey massacre as much as the next girl, but I just don't think I could take out my own kind. Well.. my own kind and a half.''
