"Welcome to Balto Source! A place where you can submit some of the most wildest creations and breeds you can think up and get away with making choppy poorly written bio's and relations! Here you will find around 9-18 year olds acting like children, starting a bunch of useless drama, trolling the place, and giving the mods a hard time! Rules here are as simple as can be read, but still many say they are being treated unfairly and not most people will talk to you without having to worry about you being like the majority of hormonal teens! You will be judged on how you render, draw, make characters and overall, who you are..Enjoy your stay!"
Lord. I thought people were actually exaggerating over this type of thing and how bad it was, but browsing through the site alone, this is very devastating. Flame me about the announcement above, you will not find my response.....or, you can ask the rest of people still here, and I'm sure they can say just about the same thing.
I remember when I was only around 9-10 years old and this site was nothing more than a properly organized site for Balto and his fan related artwork alone. There was absoultely no exsistence of any pointless ranting, stupid anonymous comments, badly colored images, any sign of judgement towards someone else's opinons/who they are/likes, drama, poorly made characters and cheap realtions and especially NO SPARKLES. This site was maintained like it should always be, and I honestly miss the old days.
I don't blame people for leaving, and I really hope that one day Balto Source will come back to the way it was. I am all in for change, and I wouldn't mind somehow helping out to restore it. Having someplace that reminds you of your childhood shouldn't be replaced like this and rumored about badly. You can say what you want in the comments section, after all this is the place for such talk isn't it?
To be honest with you all however, this is how I see it, and how I can only express what has been going on lately (Not really meaning to rant or offend anyone either. I don't mean to look like those other ranting people too: IZ DON"T LIKE THE WAY BALTO HAZ BEEN I LIEK IT B4. B4? Really, you're human, not bingo.) No argument in that.

This is a very encouraging site! Hi, I'm Lady_Aniu, and I'm currently
heading a mission to rebirth the Sources, so to say, but it has been
rough, especially through the summer months. I really just happened to
stumble upon this post and I thank you. Not only did I find this
perfectly honest, a bit scary, and sobering, but also VERY
encouraging. This means that there are others out there who agree with
me and my friends that the Sources are infected, and that means quite
a lot! Thank you for having the courage to speak out, and keeping your
