Im not a big city person but I would choose Anchorage over new york or LA any time. Like i said Im moving to Cantwell. its to bad taht the only guitar center I can find is in Anchorage though. tahts pretty out of the way for soem musicians who want lots of gear.

Anchorage is wonderful...great big city but no crime and beautiful scenes in downtown and outside town. Wonderful place!

nice Utah is beutifull to but the people are crazzy. also everything is so close to gether in comparison. I can see three ski resorts from my window that are all in the top 10 for the 25 best resorts in the world. I can see most of the 2002 winter olympic grounds from my window too. but Im looking at moving out to Cantwel. I wont be able to drive likely so I will need a place where I can take the train to Anchorage for guitar center and all the big stuff that you dont have in little towns.

Alaska is beautiful...I live in Kenai at the gulf of Alaska and the Kenai mountians. There is a volcano (active too!) that I see right out my window. It's Mt. Redout. Just blew ash the other day.
