As a College student, these renders/bases are all I can do for now. Go
ahead and call my attitude poor as an artist, but it's true...I don't
have the time to learn freehand to draw wolves. |

Then draw them traditionally. You can do that at school. I do it all
the time. XD |

"Regardless, I do not have the time to digitally draw the characters
exactly right. I am in school full time so the renders/base save me
time." That's a pretty poor attitude for a fan artist to have. |

"Besides, my idea behind Aniu in this shape is that this is her mortal
wolf form, her real form is her spirit form...makes sense I hope." And Aniu is a Wolf, Jenna is a Siberian Husky. |

Agreed. You need to stop using blank line art of one character to
attempt to make another character (at least the official ones...I
realize that lots of younger members use blank line art of official
characters in order to make their own, but that's not what was done
here). Try drawing your own stuff. You might begin a whole new process for yourself. And start to gain greater respect among the general membership as a result. Especially if you try HARD. |

Looks a lot more like Jenna than Aniu. Aniu has thinner eyes with a
dark background, a longer, fuzzier, comparatively-thicker muzzle, much
smaller ears that are closer together on her head, and a tall
stature--she would probably be taller than your average wolf/husky.
That's the problem with rendering a character into another when the
two have such vastly different builds (as well as a problem with
rendering in general, for that matter--it mooches off whatever
character is being traced and very often neglects to give the "new"
character their own features.) |
