"Why dont we let him decide who he wants to live with?" you suggest. Balto wags his tail, he clearly likes the idea. The wolf snarls and steps back. You take a step back as well. Balto stands in the middle, looking at the wolf, then at you. Slowly, balto walks towards you. The wolf growls with anger. Just as you almost had balto back, you hear a gunshot. A hunter runs towards you and balto. The female wolf ran away through the bushes. You pick up balto and try to run of, but the hunter shoots you. You drop balto and watch as the hunter picks your puppy up and puts him in a crate. "What are we going to do with the mother?" another hunter comes and stares at you. "Just leave her there. She's weak anyway!" the first hunter replies. You whimper as they get into a car and put balto's crate onto the back of their truck with rope. What are you going to do? |
