Few seconds later, Boris saw Steele on him and quickly grabbed a mop and started swinging like a maniac whipping Steele off him. "Are you ok Balto?" Boris said with a worried tone "Yeah, i'm ok, thanks Boris" Balto now fully awakened by the sudden attack gets up and diverts all attention to Steele. "What are you doing here Steele?" "What do you think? I'm here to get my revenge for all the misery you've given me" "I didn't give you misery, Steele, you did it to yourself." "Silence wolfdog, your end is here" Steele went berserk and charged Balto, while charging Balto strafed to the right having Steele miss by a longshot. The floor was still wet from Boris taking out his mop Steele slid to the very rim of the boat falling over and landing into the ocean. As Steele increased in frustration he heard howls, not from the forests, but within Nome. Suddenly a giant crowd of dogs led by Star, Nikki, and Kaltag surrounded Steele. "Wait a minute! How did you two round up all these dogs so fast?!" the enraged Steele screamed. "We didn't, Star did, we just ran into them when we were running back into town." explained Nikki "Bu--but I knocked Star out didn't I? I saw him get knocked out!" "I may not be strong, but i'm sure as heck smarter than you! It's called acting!" Star said with pride "RAAAGH" screamed Steele, having his plans foiled. "See Steele, you gave yourself misery, not me" With that said, Steele fled back into the forest where he was never seen again. Congratulations, you have completed this gamebook! I know the ending is anti-climatic, but Balto isn't a pushover which Steele had thought he was. |
