Balto has a big act in his talent show tonight, but he is afraid to show up because of some one threatening to hurt him if he was in the talent show. That person wanted him to drop out and use any excuse possible. Either somebody didn't like Balto, or they just really wanted to win. A big scary dog that Balto had never seen before came up to him and they said that they were the stage manager. Then they handed Balto a note. The note said:

Balto,

Meet me in the bandroom. I have an award to present you. I also heard that you were in band, so I thought that you could play us a song. There will be a ton of agents here tonight. So please come as soon as you get this note that I told my buddy to give to you.

Just then, the announcer announced that Balto would be performer in 5 minutes. Balto didn't know what to do.
