Balto then walks to the next sled dog. "Are you alright?" Balto asks the sled dog laying on the ground. "No" replies the sled dog. Balto looks at his leg and sees that its broken. "Your leg! Its twisted! Can you walk?" Balto asks. The dog then tries to walk but limps. Balto runs to the sled and pushes it close to the dog. "Here, lay on this its better then running." Balto explains, the dog then crawls on the sled. Balto then yells "Is every one else injured?" All Balto can hear is a no from everyone else except Steele.
