You switch the young and strong Jake with Sillie, and continue running down the trail... over time there is only two checkpoints before Nome... and the finish line. You are is second place and a champion runner, Jeff King is the only thing in your way of winning. The spring sun beams down on you as you charge along King's tail... on the way, you find yourslelf on a narrow path next to a wide chasm. And without warning the part you are running on breaks off, with a scream of terror, your sled and half of the dogs are sent downwards... but Leader Jake; backed by the dogs behind him, manage to hold on to the slippery slope in time for Jeff to reach you and pull you up like a proper sportsman, after resting a bit, you find yourself on the last leg of the race...
