So you decided to go venture off, eh?

Upon your return to the cave, you notice a shiny object laying on the ground. As any young pup would do you walk up to it and sniff it, but its nothing you reconize. It seems to have a spot to put around your neck... and attached to the neck brace, is some orb looking thing. Tilting your head you watch it. Hoping it does something that might help you reconize what it is. No luck. What do you do?
