After the struggle with the hunters, Shadow found peace with a lone pack that roams the Alaskan Island. Being in the pack, Shadow also found love...and a couple of pups by the names of Sun and River. Sun stepped through the branches, smiling as she snuck-up on the young wolf ahead. She moved closer. The wolf was sun-bathing on his own, not aware that he was in a trap. Sun shot out of the ferns and pounced on the petrefied wolf. They tussled and rolled in their play-fight. "Nice job Sun, but it sounded like an elephant was coming through the bushes. Your attack was good, but please, work on your stalking." "Sorry River, I wasn't thinking." Sun replied to her brother. Sun and River are the two pups of Iceberg and Shadow. River took after his mother; being quite adventurous and outgoing. But young Sun was more like her rogue father; quiet and fiesty. The bushes up ahead parted. Their father was back from his hunt. "Alright you two, back to the clearing. Sun, how about I teach you to stalk tomorrow? River, no offense, but you're still young yet and don't have much experience in the wild." "Ok, tomorrow then," Sun said while her brother grunted. When Shadow turned to leave, River was thinking about staying out a little longer, and brought it up to his sister. "River, you know you're disobeying him. Why do you just have to get yourself in trouble? Ok, fine. You run off. But when father catches you, don't come crying to me." Was her response before disappearing into the bushes after Shadow.
