http://www.acfacats.com/images/Vertical%20Somali.jpg Clover awoke to a bright a early morning the next day and searched for he familiar Turkish Angora tom she had met the other day. She spotted him with another, light brown female cat beside him, and she was curious to know who she was. SHe approached the two cautiously and the brown she-cat greeted her with a dip of her head. Clover gulped and faced the two, staring into Ques eyes. "I'm sorry but . . . I do not want to join your clan." Ques seemed taken back and his kind smile faded. His ears lowered and he stared at her, obviously wondering whyy she would decline living life in a clan with him. Clover just, didn't want to live in the forest with so many cats, so much danger, s manyn threats. She couldn't stand it. She lowered her ears and looked at her paws. "I'm sorry." She whispered before running off into the darkness of an alleyway. Ques and Ginger, the other cat that was with him, his leader, left sadly as Ginger rested her light brown tail on his shoulder to comfort him. She knew about his feelings for her and Clover watched sadly as they dissapeared into the forest. 'Wait a second. What am I doing? I want top be with Ques and he clan!' she yelled at herself frustratedly. She bolted out of the alleyway. "Ques! Wait!" She called, stepping out into the busy street, not bothering to look for cars. Before she knew it a car had swerved, trying to avoid her, and mowed her down on the street. Ques appeared out of the forest once more with Ginger, and he felt tears gather in his eyes as he saw the dead body of Clover laying in the street. "I shouldn't have let her go!" He yelled, staring at Ginger with tears rolling down his cheeks. "It wasn't your fault Ques. It was her own choice, and it wasn't your's to make. Come. We muust return to the clan."
