Denali thanked the husky over and over again. Then a thought struck her. She couldn't go north; she didn't know where north was! And she didn't want to be a track racer. She looked at the husky. He seems pretty savy to surviving in the wild... She thought "So, uhh..." she began, "What's your name?" "My name is Anook." he replied. "I'm a purebred siberian husky!" "Siberian husky? I thought those were black and white, not brown and white." She said, stunned. He had the same markings of a purebred, but instead of black he was a reddish brown. "We can be brown. Some people call us 'bronze trophy huskies' instead of siberian huskies. It gets really annoying." he scowled. "So," Denali went on, "Do you live in that cabin?" "Me?! A pet?! No way!! I'm a loner! I rely on myself for food, not those filthy humans!" He yapped. "Well, Anook," Denali continued, "I'm a loner, too. I'm new to this though, so I don't know which derection north is. Can you show me?" Anook thought for a while. "Only if you let me travel with you." Denali smiled and her tail wagged. A warm flow engulfed her body, making her forget how cold she was. Denali pretened to think about it, though she had already decided on her answer. What is her answer? |
