She yelled as loud as she could. "Heeelp!! Help!!" A husky in a cabin nearby heard her and came running. He plunged into the lake, braking a trail as he swam

When he reached Denali, he turned around, and slammed one paw on the ice, braking it into bits. "Fallow me!" he barked. His paws worked like a ginder, braking the ice into small pieces, easy to swim through.

Denali did as he said, but her coat was thin, and she was getting colder by the second. Finally, she went unconciose. The husky grabbed her and pulled her the rest of the way to shore.

She awoke to him gently licking her fur dry. Opening her eyes, she stood up and shook herself as hard as possible. She was still freezing cold, but at least she was dry... and alive.
