you double back into the forest and loop around the back of the group of wolves and settle down into the grass.

"we will have to find out another way to test if the new wolf if trustworthy or not, the sleeping Ice river trick is down the drain" a silver wolf with a scar across his leg snarls,

you gasp under your breath and think, 'the ice river is as cold as ice, and the sleeping part... they would have drowned me in the Ice river in my sleep!' you blink and silently fume, 'they would have killed me!'

"wait! shhh.." a dark brown wolf growls, "the new wolf is somewhere over there," he jabs his tail tip towards the bush you are hiding in, immedietly, a white wolf and a mahogany wolf run over to the bush and drag you out by your hind leg,

" hmmm... a sneak," Shadow pads up to you dangling upside down and breaths into your ear

"we in the Forest pack do not tolerate sneaks, we mind our own buisness.. so..." Shadow backs away and flicks his tail towards the silver wolf and he charges forward, grasps your head between his strong jaws and flicks you around, throwing you against a tree, rattling the branches and fluttering leaves onto your head, you shake your head, clearing the stars and throwing yourself against him, but, his body was in a defensive stance, his back paws dug into the pine needlesand shoulders squared, he ducks under your jump and pushes up his back, throwing you off balance, he whips around, snaps his teeth around your shoulder , and drags you painstakingly towards Shadow and drops you there, you sink to the ground and lay there, staring up into the leader's eyes, he grins and plunges his teeth into your neck.
