One day had passed and Heno and the others were ready.

They trained from dawn to dusk as they went through numerous obstacles they set for themselves,increaing their speed,strength,and intellegence.

"You two ready?" Heno asked in A determined voice.

"Ready." Uvi and Fala said in unison.

"Let's go!" Heno said as they headed straight for Nome.

 

Meanwhile,Aken,Lucan,and Wergan had already arrived in Nome.

They were hiding in the shadows so that no one could see them. "This is it." Aken said as he glared at the humans. "Finally,my dream is about to become reality!"

"Boss,are you sure you want to go through with this?" Lucan asked.

"Of course i'm sure!!" He yelled.

"But......don't you think there's A better way than this?" Wergan asked.

"Well, I guess you two don't want to be known around the world." 

"No,we do." Lucan said.  "Then stop asking meaningless questions." Aken said,fiercely.

"Now,on my command,we attack!!"

He saw two human males in front of his gaze. "Okay,we attack on 3. 1......2........3!!"

All 3 of them charged out and started ripping the two humans until they were killed.

Everyone ran into their houses as soon as they saw this.   Mothers and fathers grabbed their children and some of the dogs started to run away.

Aken jumped on to one of them and sliced his throat,which killed him.  Lucan and Wergan killed 4 more humans and 7 dogs.

"This is horrible." Tavic said as he viewed the massacre from the hut.

'Why are they doing this?" Desa asked.

"Well,we can't just sit here and let them kill everyone,can we?" Racu said.

"Son,they're wolves. They're A lot stronger than us dogs." Tavic said.

Racu ignored him and jumped out of the window.  He confronted them and said, "Hey! Why don't you three pick on someone your own size?!"

Aken laughed. "You think A common mutt like you can stop us?"

"What'd you say?!" Racu yelled.

"Racu!!" Tavic yelled as he,Desa,and Monae came to him.

"Perfect. 4 useless mutts to kill!" 

Racu growled and leapt foward.  Lucan slashed his face as he was knocked back.

"Racu!!" Desa yelled in concern.

Aken stood over Racu. "Good-bye,mutt!"

 

As soon as he was about to kill him,Heno attacked him and sent him into the outside of A house.

"Leave these innocent dogs alone!!" He yelled.

"Boss,are you alright?" Wergan said as he and Lucan helped him to his feet.

"Heno. What A surprise."

"Stop this madness,Aken!" Uvi said. 

"Give up and walk away!" Fala said.

"Never!!" He said as he lunged at Heno. Uvi and Fala pushed him into the ground as they all tussled.

Heno lunged toward Lucan and Wergan and constantly bit them.

"Racu,are you okay?" Monae asked.

"I'm fine." He said getting up.

"Racu,how could you put yourself in danger like that?!" Desa scolded. "You'd have been killed if they hadn't showed up! Tavic,tell him."

Tavic wasn't listening because he was staring at Heno as he fought.

"Tavic,what's the matter?" She asked.

"That dog........he has the same coat as you do."

"So?"

"Desa.......I think that's our son!!"

"What?!"

"What do you mean he's your son?" Racu asked.

Tavic and Desa stared at each other and nodded their heads. 

"Racu........Monae.....we've kept this A secret from you,but now's A good A time as any to tell you that......you have A brother."

"What?!" They both said in unison.

Tavic nodded. "When you two were born,there was A third pup.  But A bear attacked us,causing the third one to run away."

Racu and Monae couldn't believe it.

 

 

Aken pushed Uvi and Fala off of him and Heno pushed Lucan and Wergan off of him.

Both of them circled each other,growling intensly.

"Leave this place,Aken!"

"I already told you! I'm never leaving!!  My dreams are finally coming true!"

"Aken,your blinded by your past!! Let it go!!"

"Shut up!! What do you know about me?!!!"

"I may have known you for A short time,but I understand your pain."

"A mutt like you will never understand!!"

"It's not Carona's fault your part dog!! It was destiny that made you this way!! YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO KILL HER!!"

"THAT'S IT!!! I'VE HAD ENOUGH WITH YOU!!"

Aken slammed Heno into the outside of A house with his paw choking his neck.  "You mutts are all the same!! You think your so much smarter than us,but you not!! You've been A pain ever since I met you. Now I can finally GET RID OF YOU!!'

Tavic attacked Aken and pinned him to the ground. "Don't you DARE hurt my son!!"

"Son?" Heno thought.

Tavic cut opened Aken's neck and bit it as hard as he could.   Aken was dead.

Tavic growled at Lucan and Wergan,causing them to run away.

 

"Heno,are you alright?" Fala asked.

"I'm fine." He answered.

Heno walked over to Tavic. "Before you killed him,you called me son. Why?"

Tavic laughed A little. "Because i'm your father."

Heno looked at him in surprise.

"You may not remember,but when you were born,you got seperated from us during an attack from A bear.  I thought you were dead up until now,but I can see that you've survived."

Heno stared into his eyes and suddenly remebered his face from when he was still A pup.   He looked at Desa,Racu,and Monae and remebered their faces as well.

He turned back to Tavic. "Father?"

He nodded.

Heno smiled and nuzzled him,feeling happy to be reunited.  Desa,Racu,and Monae joined in.

"Isn't that sweet?" Fala said to Uvi.

"Sure is." He answered.

 

After that day,Heno decided to leave the pack and stay in Nome.  Uvi and Fala understood and went back,saying that they'll never forget him.  Heno decided to become an apprentice of his sister and learn how to be A sled dog.

In the end,Heno's mishap as pup turned into his life as an adult.
