After realizing how great his children are, Tavic forgot all about the missing pup and decided to just raise Monae and Racu.

A year had already passed and the pup had grown into A teen. It was A hard life for him,growing up in the forest.

He had to learn all of the things that parents would usually teach their young all by himself and there was barely any food in the forest that was edible. Plus, he occasionally encountered wild animals and had to defend himself.

He woke up one morning, still living in the same tree, and stretched himself.

"Another day in the forest." he said with A positive,peppy tone. He frowned and said in A negative tone, "Oh, who am I kidding? This place bites!!"

He walked through the forest with A bored expression on his face. "Everyday is the same thing. Same forest, same trees, same grass..."   An acorn hit his head while he was talking. "and same stupid squirrel!" 

He looked up into the sky and sighed as he laid on the ground. "This place is so dull! I wish I could go further out and find A place where I can....you know.....have A little excitement."

To avoid A another day of his life, he decided to go back to sleep, but A sudden howl stopped him.

"A howl?" he questioned "That means...."   He heard the howl again.

He ran towards the sound of the howling.  It grew louder and louder as he got closer. Unfortunately, when he reached the source, he found A hunter,with his gun pointed at him.

"What is this creature?" he wondered "I guess it was him that made the howling to attract me."

The hunter pulled the trigger and he dodged out of the way. "What the...."    The hunter pulled the trigger again and he again moved out of the way.  "I think....it's trying to KILL ME!!!"

He ran past the hunter as he pulled trigger after trigger. The adolescent pup ran as he was dodging the bullets.

"I don't understand! Why is it trying to kill me?!"    He tripped over A rock and fell into A nearby river.

The hunter caught up to him and was about to fire.  "Oh No!!"  he thought

Before the hunter could shoot, something attacked him as it started biting at him.  It took the gun and threw it into the river with it's teeth.  The hunter ran away.

"Are you okay?" It asked. 

"Hey! Your A wolf!!" the adolescent pup said.

"What was your first clue?"

He laughed nervously.

"My name is Uvi. What's yours?"

"Uhhh.....I don't have A name."

Uvi laughed. "Your A funny one."

"I'm serious! I don't have any parents!!" he protested.

"Oh." Uvi said "Well....why don't you come with me?"

"To where?"

"You'll see. Come on!!"

Uvi dashed as the adolescent pup ran right behind him.

"Wonder where he's taking me?"

After A short run, they stopped at A cave.

"What's so great about this?" the adolescent asked

"The good part is inside." Uvi explained.

He moved his head, signalling the adolescent to follow him.  They went deep, deep,inside the cave until they entered the otherside.                                                                                                                                                                                                 

The adolescent's eyes litted up as he saw A beautiful grass/mountain terrain with the sun shining over it.

"Isn't it great?" Uvi asked.

"Wow! It's like everything i've ever dreamed."

"Come on! There's someone I want you to meet."

The adolescent followed him into A cave located in the upper right of the mountain part of the area.

They both walked in. Uvi stepped foward. "Caroda, I have found us A new member of our pack."

A female wolf walked towards them. Her fur was slightly bluish and she had A strange mark on her forehead that looked like A crescent moon.

"Hello,Uvi." she said in A monotone-like voice. She turned to the adolescent. "You are the wolf that wishes to join our pack?"

"Well.....i'm not A wolf,actually, i'm A dog." he said.

"I see......goodbye."

"Hold it, Carona!" Uvi said "I know that he isn't A wolf,but i've seen his speed and agility and he could be A good edition to the...."

"Uvi...."  Carona said, turning around "A mere dog cannot be in A wolf pack."

"But..."

"But nothing. A dog has no skills of A wolf and is therefore A weakling."

The adolescent grew shocked of that comment. "A weakling?"

"Yes. You are but A dog. Leave at once."

Uvi tried to reason, but Carona hushed him by putting her paw up without turning around.

"HOLD IT!!" The adolescent yelled. "I MAY NOT BE A WOLF,BUT THAT DOSEN'T MEAN WE'RE NOT EQUAL TO EACH OTHER!!! WE COME FROM THE SAME SPECIES AND WE'RE JUST AS POWERFUL AS YOU WOLVES ARE!! IF YOU GIVE ME A CHANCE AND LET ME STAY HERE, I'LL DO MY BEST TO BRING POWER TO THIS PACK!!!"

Uvi stared at him in shock that he would speak to the pack leader like that.

Carona chuckled slightly. "Excellent answer.  Welcome to the pack."

"Huh?" the adolescent asked.

"What I said earlier was A test. I wanted to see if you had the nerve to explain why dogs and wolves should work together."

"That Carona is always doing things like that to people."  Uvi said.

"By the way, what is your name?"

"I don't have one,Carona....Ms."

"Then I shall grant you name."  She opened up A strange fruit with her claws and put some of the juice on her paw and walked up to him. She place the juice on his forehead. "From now on.....you shall be known as..." She spread the juice across his forehead.  "Heno."

"Heno." he thought to himself.

"Well,Heno, let me introduce you to the other members." Uvi said as Heno followed him out.
