The Pups

“Kodi we’re going to be parents”, said Dusty excitedly. It was September 24 a few weeks after the wedding and Dusty felt something in her lower stomach, “Uhhh Kodi help I think they’re coming”. Kodi rushed Dusty to the hospital. Dr. Schwartz took Dusty to the delivery room in a wheelchair and was breathing heavily. Later at 6:oo at night Dusty was still waiting and waiting. Meanwhile Alue Balto and Jenna were waiting anxiously for the pups. “ Mom, Papa I’m staying in Nome”. “Oh Alue baby thanks we appreciate it and Kodi needs you for a minute’’, said Balto. “Hey Kodi what’s up”. “Alue we want you to be the Godmother.” “Oh thanks Kodi.” Dr. Schwartz came out telling Kodi and Alue to come in the delivery room. “Ahhhhhh oh God this is torture!!!!!”, said Dusty in agonizing pain. “Come on Dusty breath’’. After two hard and long hours 5 beautiful babies were born. But one other one was in the other room not breathing right. Dr. Schwartz came in with very sad news, “Kodi, Dusty I’m very sorry but unfortunately you had a miscarriage”. Dusty buried her face in Kodi’s chest and cried hysterically for 2 hours as did Alue. Kodi tried to hold back tears but couldn’t. Balto and Jenna came in very excited but once they heard the sad news they prayed for the pup. “ So do we have any names” asked Dr. Schwartz. All were girls. One girl had a full silver body Kodi and Dusty named her Sparks. There next eldest girl was red but had a silver underbelly she was named Rosey. The third eldest was red but had silver paws and a silver muzzle she was named Bailey. The fourth eldest was all fully red and she was named Roxie. And last was the fith she was silver and around she was named Mackenzie. A few more days went by smoothly Kodi Dusty and the pups were all at Balto’s boat celebrating the pups 1st birthday. The pups weren’t pups anymore they were fully grown and surprisingly didn’t want a human. Sparks who was the eldest was very protective of her younger sisters.  Rosey is very shy around others except for her family members. Bailey is very playful and active. Roxie is a bit protective for Mackenzie but loves to play rough with her daddy. And Mackenzie “Max’’ was very much like Bailey but worse. Alue came over. “Hey girls” “Aunt Alue”, said the girls all at once. They ran to Alue and began to jump on her. “ Come one girls you aren’t pups anymore”, scolded Kodi but in a very soft way. He knows how sensitive his daughters are. Meanwhile Dusty was at the school meeting. The girls were in seventh grade honors. Principle Joe asked Dusty if he could represent her daughters in the national TV quiz show. Dusty didn’t know what to do. “Joe I appreciate your offer I’ll talk to Kodi my husband and we’ll call you”. Joe agreed to it. “ Take your time, by the way tell the girl to keep up the great work!”

                  Kodi and Dusty asked the girls about the quiz show. The girls surprisingly said no. “I’m very camera shy”, said Bailey. “If she won’t do it I won’t either’’, said the others. Kodi and Dusty understood the girls decision. Christmas came fast. The girls got Kodi and Dusty a wedding cake ornament saying our first Christmas. “ Girls thank you so much” said Kodi and Dusty. Sparks got new makeup, Bailey got a new cell phone, Roxie got a new iPod, Rosey got a new necklace, and Mackenzie got a new sweater. Alle the girls thanked their mom and dad. Then Balto and Jenna and Alue came over and had their Christmas breakfast. “Wow Dusty you cook well” said Alue. Balto wiped a smudge off Alue’s muzzle and blushed. “Papa”, and licked him lovingly. Then all of a sudden Kodi herd a very painful groan. It was Jenna she was having her puppies. It was too late to go to the hospital. So Jenna had no choice to have a home delivery, since  Kodi and Balto were the strongest they carried Jenna on the couch and went through her contractions and gave birth to her 2 babies. This time a boy and a girl both red with a grey muzzle. Balto and Jenna decided to name them Tobey who was the older brother and the sister Molly. Finally new year’s came and Tobey and Molly were fully grown but were babysat by Alue as were Kodi and Dusty’s pups. At least they all had playmates instead of being bored all day. Alue decided to stay the night with Tobey and Molly. Alue heard Molly crying. “Whats wrong honey’’, “This huge black and white dog came to me and started to attack me,” said Molly uncontrollably crying. “Steele,’’ said Alue with a huge growl. Alue told Tobey what happened and Tobey carried his sister to Balto. “Holy crap what happened!?” “ Steele is back and attacked her,” explained Alue. Jenna heard everything and called Kodi and Dusty and the girls with a family howl. They all came in a flash and hunted down Steele in a flash while Alue and Tobey satyed with a scared Molly. Meanwhile in the forest “ Steele you asshole I’m going to murder you for what you did to my daughter,” said with a growl. Unexpectedly Kodi lunged at Steele and tried to hold him down but Steele turned the tables and went for Kodi’s throat and Kodi passed out. “ One down 8 more to go,’’ said an evil Steele. Balto leaped over Steele and tricked him while Dusty and Sparks tripped him and Balto bit Steele’s neck, a puddle of blood came out and Steele was DEAD. The girls ran to their weak dad and helped him up. Balto grabbed Kodi’s scruff and carried him on his back and 5 girls and Jenna and Dusty started to cry but knew that Kodi was okay. A hard month passed but no more enemies were near. Alue still watched over all 7 pups. Molly was recovered and now healthy, Tobey is very proective of her and won’t let anyone touch her. Balto and Jenna and Kodi and Dusty and the pups all lived on Balto’s boat and howled together and lived a happier life,  for now………..
