A gathering of days

a short fan-fic by silver fang 5900 and sun glare.

Eclipse woke up and spotted Amaraq. She trotted up to him and nudged him in the side. She sat down and laughed

‘‘Ha ha, well good morning to you to'' Amaraq laughed ''so what are the plans for our pack today'' Amaraq asked

Hum... I am not sure... Hunting?”Eclipse got up and shook her fur. She looked at the dark clouds over head. "Hum... We might get a storm today." Eclipse knew it would wash away animal's scents.

"Okay." Eclipse walked into the small cave were the pack should be. Everyone was awake doing something. She waited for Amaraq to tell them what they were doing.

'' Alright guys listen up we are going hunting today so listen up and ill tell the groups'' Amaraq said. ‘‘Silver, zing, and eclipse you ll be the pursue group and me, kapu and raw will bring him down.'' Amaraq said 

Eclipse looked at Silver and Zing. She nodded her head and told them to come forward with her body motions. They came up and stood next to her.

'Amaraq told the pursuers to go on ahead and bring the bull to Amaraq, kapu, and raw.

Eclipse, Zing, and Silver lured the bull in a circle made by their bodies. Zing snapped at it and it stood frozen and it ran, smacking Eclipse in the side. She heard a snap and flew against a tree.

''NOOO'' screamed Amaraq as he ran toward eclipse. Raw and kapu ran down the bull. Amaraq was standing over eclipse that was still breathing and still conscious. '' Are you o.k.'' Amaraq asked trying to hold back tears.

Ah... I think I broke something... It's hard to breathe..." Her lungs felt filled with water when she tried to breath. One of her ribs was probably broken. She lay her head back down on the ground in an attempt for comfort.

Amaraq called silver over. she was the medical person in the pack '' can you help her'' Amaraq asked '' ill try'' said silver as she walked over to eclipse. 

Eclipse closed her eyes and breathed slowly in and out. "Thank You..." Eclipse was in terrible pain. She felt like she was going to pass-out. She realized then that she was bleeding on her back. She felt it ooze out.

‘‘This is going to hurt'' said silver and she set the bone she also went and got some leaves to stop the bleeding

Eclipse screamed/yelped in pain. "Uh... God..." Silver came over and the cut on her back sting, too. She placed the leaves on her back and it hurt almost as much as the bones were being set in place.

Amaraq winced when he heard these screams but knew silver was doing her job right

Eclipse tried to sit up shakily. She sat up and swayed in her place. She collapsed and fainted.

Amaraq was worried about her, but decided that rest was best and lay down beside her.

Eclipse turned over and layed her head on Amaraq's chest. She made a few noises in her sleep. She whimpered, too.

Amaraq laid still and rested by eclipse, praying that his mate would get better.

Eclipse started to get cold. She shivered and stayed still. Her lungs were starting to feel better and her breathing was easier.

Amaraq saw her shivering and moved in closer to warm her up. He saw that her breathing was increasing and he smiled because he knew she was getting better

Eclipse eyes started to open a little. She saw Amaraq and smiled.

‘‘Hi, how are you feeling'' Amaraq asked, even though eclipse was concouses he was still a little worried

"Hello and good. How did the hunting go? Did I ruin it all when my ‘prown to bad-luck' magnets kicked in?" She laughed and laid her head back down. 

the hunting went well, if you can get up its right over there, but if you cant i ll bring you some'' Amaraq said still holding eclipse close to him

"I can get up... I think..." She stood up shakily again and saw the meat. She walked over to it and ate slowly, trying not to make her head hurt anymore then it already did

alright but don’t strain your self'' Amaraq said walking beside her.

"Ha-ha, what are you saying?!" She laughed and nudged him, she continued to eat.

just worried about you'' he laughed as she nudged him

 "Well, you don't have to be.. Most of the time... Ha-ha." She continued to eat. "Uh, are you going to eat?" She looked at him and put her head up.

oh yeah'' Amaraq said he was mesmerized by eclipses beauty, he was glad to have her for a mate.

Amaraq started to eat next to eclipse, when he was finished he went a walked under a tree and fell asleep

Eclipse went over to the tree and fell asleep next to him. She had her head on his chest and felt much better.

amaraq woke up the next day yawned and strechted. eclipse woke up and walked over to amaraq and gently nuzzeled him on the chin. '' hello'' amaraq said ''hows youre rib feeling to day'' amaraq said '' sore as anything eclispe said.
