Eclipse's Daughter

     Eclipse sit in the cave right after his pups were born.His first daughter,Anna sat next to him.A tear trickled down Eclipse's face.His pups could die at any moment.They had been born more than 3 weeks early.Their lungs were underdeveloped and they just barely had a heartbeat.He looekd at Anna lovingly,knwing that she could possibly be his only daughter in a matter of minutes.

Anna looked up at him,"I wuv woo daddy,"Anna said.

"I love you too hun,"Eclipse said as he nuzzled his daughter.

Then he looked back at his mate,Jenn and his newborn pups.He walked over to them and licked each one of their cheeks.

"Wh-what shall we n-name th-them?"Jenn stuttered.

"You decide sweetie,"Eclipse said.

"Justin for the boy and Gloria for the girl."Jenn said now smiling,she was positive that her pups were going to survive.'

"I agree.Wonderful names,"Eclipse said.

Eclipse and Jenn watched as their three pups played outside with other pups.They could only recgnize one of the pups that weren't theirs.A little boy pup named,Arro.He had strange markings on his face.No one really trusted the poor pup exceot for them,their pups and Arro's parents.

Anna was the strongest of them all,except for Arro who always teamed up with her.They tackled their other two pups to the ground,claiming that she had one but,neither of them would give up.Just like when they were born,they were survivors,they were strong and would never give up.

Anna watched as her father stormed out of the cave.She had been pretending to be asleep as she watched her parents fight.Then her father had left the cave,she had been doing this a lot lately.She pretended to wake up and walked up to her mom.

"Where's daddy going?"Anna asked.

"D-daddy's going away for awhile."Jenn said.

"Why?"Anna asked.

"I'll tell you when you're older."Jenn said then turned around and curled up next to the twins.

Anna walked over and curled up next to her also.Anna couldn't sleep,she was to busy crying.She looked around the cave,tears still streaming from her eyes.She saw her grandmother lying awake,a tear dripped off her cheek.

Anna got up and walked over to her grandmother.She curled up next to her.

Anna woke up the next morning her dad was at the entrance of the cave with my mom.I tried to listen but all I got was the word,'Leave' from my mom.

Anna sighed as she woke up the next morning.She walked to the corner of the cave where a necklace she had found lay.She slipped it on then walked outside.She saw her siblings playing together.Se sighed and took a drink from the creek that was close to the cave.She saw her dad come ot of the trees,it was time to go to where her dad lives.

"C'mon Justin,Gloria!"I yelled as she ran past to greet my dad.

"Hey dad!"Anna greeted.

"Hey sweetie!"Dad said."I have a suprise!"he said.

"What?"Anna asked.

"We're going to Holly's territory to join her for breakfast!"Dad said.

Anna sighed,"Cool!"she said pretending to be excited.

"Anything wrong?"Dad asked.

"No!Of course not dad!"Anna lied.Holly was a girl her dad had met and she hadn't met her yet and didn't really want to.

"Okay just making sure,you seem sad."Dad said.

"Oh I just woke up,I'm fine,"Anna said.

"Okay,C'mon goofballs!"Dad called to my brother and sister.

We head off into the forest.He led the way to her territory,apparently she was a loner.My dad called Holly's name.

A brownish red wolf walked out of the cave,two pups following her.One with dark brown fur that looked to be a couple of months older than me and the other that was about a couple months younger than my brother and sister.

"Hello!You guys must be the wonderful pups that your dad always talks about!"Holly said I just smiled and politely said hi.My brother and sister on the other hand came up and asked everyone their name's and excitedly said hello and were completelely crazy.

"So you guys wait and get to know eachother while Eclipse and I go and hunt."Holly said.

We all went inside the cave.It smelled unfamiliar and was really weird being in another cave besides my own and my father's when came to his cave.

"Soooo,"I finaly say after my brother and sister have finaly calmed down.I was sitting to the odler pup named Haley and my brother and sister were playing with Taegan,the smaller one.

"So,what's your name?"Haley asked.

"Anna,"Anna said.

"Cool,"Haley said.

Annalooked around the room boredly.

"Sooo,"Haley said.

"What's up wit the word so?Why do people say so when their bored or it's an awkward silence?"Anna said,randomly.

"I don't know.But it is a good question,"Haley said.

"Yeah,"Anna said.

"Soooooo,"Haley said and started laughing.

Anna laughed too."Soooo,"

"Why is this so funny?"Haley asked.

"I have no idea."Anna said.

Then Eclipse and Holly came back with a couple of rabbits and a doe.

"Food!"I heard Just in yell I laughed and ran over to my dad.

"Can we eat now?"Anna asked.

"yeah dig in guys!We'll take what's left."Dad said.

later that day we had to leave and go back to my dad's territory,we said our goodbyes then went on our way.We arrived and played for awhile then went to bed.

      We woke up and went home when we got home we played with our friend,Arro.We teamed up against the twins and obviously won.After that Anna went inside to rest.She sighed,wishing her dad and mom were back together.Ann fell asleep later.She had a dreamless dream.

Anna woke up one day,another day of going to her dad's place.When he had picked her he had some big news.

"Guys,I asked Holly to be my mate!"Dad said.

I just stared wide eyed at him.

"Is there something wrong?

"No.I was just suprised."Anna said.

"is that okay?"Dad asked.

"Mm hm,"Was all I could manage.Now I had two more sisters and a step mom.This was insane.I didn't really like my step mom.There was just something about her.

We arrived at Holly's territory,my dad had already moved in.I sighed as I went to a corner in the cave.I lay down and just think.I can tell my dad doesn't like her as much as he ever loved my mom.Just the way he looks at her.I can see it in his eyes.It drives me crazy.

We went home after that weekend to find out my mom had found a male.Great.Anna thought.His name was Adam,but Anna liked him.He was smart and nice.He had two kids.Both boys.Both of them younger than me.Their names were Seth and Ethan.Ethan was the very young one.He was about my step sisters age.The younder one of course.Then the older one was my brother and sisters name.

"I guess I'm the new babysitter,"Anna said.

"Yeah you are,"Mom said.

"i was the older sister,the smart on,the fun one,the nice one,the helpful one,and now the babysitter.This is insane."Anna said.

"You forgot one,your the most special one,"Mom said.

"Yeah your just saying that,"Anna said with a smile.

"I know,but you know your special though,"Mom said and nuxxled me.Then she went off to find Adam.I always knew there was something about Adam to but he was at least nice to us.

Anna slept in her usual spot.In the corner with her brother and sister.She was suddenly woken up.It was the middle of the night and her mom was crying.My grandma was next to her waking us up.Anna looked up to see my mom had a huge black eye.It was the worst next to her temple.She couldn't see Adam or his family anywhere.She looked up at my grandma.

"What's going on?What happened?Mom!Mom!"Anna said.

"Honey I need you to go outside,your going to your dad's house for awhile.Get your necklace and wait outside.If you see anything strange than immiediately come inside and tell me."My grandma said.I nodded and woke Just and Gloria up.I slipped on my necklace and walked past my mom on my way out I could hear her talking.I tried to catch as much as I could before I left the cave.

I listened for a moment and all I got was,"She was just hitting my head over and over on a rock."My mom said.i think she noticed me standing there.

"Go on hun.Go wait for your dad."She said.

Anna nodded and walked outside the cave with the twins at my sides.She thought about what she heard.First picture that came to my mind was some insane blond wolf had taken my mom and beat her head on a rock.She shivered and looked around,scared now.She had no idea what-so-ever what was going on.She pulled brother and sister closer to me.She started crying and waited.

Then she heard a rustle in the bushes.She freaked out and ran inside the cave and got my grandma.

"Grandma!Grandma!I heard something in the bushes.It freaked me out,c'mon!"Anna said practicaly pulling her outside.

We got outside the cave and saw it was just my dad.Anna sighed,"Sorry grandma,"Anna said.

"it's fine,you were just scared."Grandma said.

"Hi dad."i said and walked over and nuzzled him."Dad what's going on?"Anna asked.

He just looked away for a minute then gathered my brother and sister and we went off.

"Stay close guys."Dad said.

"Now that doesn't freak me out at all."Anna said.

"I know.Just stay close okay."Dad said.

"okay."Anna said.

We got to my dad's house and went to bed,like I could really sleep though.

After a few days we went home and my mom was asleep in the cave.Still Adam or his family were around.Anna suddenly got the thought that it had something to do with Adam.She didn't know why she hadn't gotten it earlier.She woke my mom.She stared at the bruise on her head.

"Hm?"She said sleepily,not even opening her eyes.

"Mom.mom it's us,we're home."Anna said.

"Oh!Hey guys!"Mom said,suddenly fully awake.

"Hi mom!"I said nuzzling her.

"Hey Gloria,"Mom said as Gloria ran over and tackled her in a hug.

I luaghed.My mom and sister laughed also.

"Why don't you guys go play, need to talk to Anna."Mom
