The days kept getting colder. Gwen felt heavey on Kuro's back. His body slowly started to get tired but he knew if he stopped Gwen wouldn't survive the night ouside. There was no shelter. Nothing but large baren land.

He couldn't go home because she woludn't be accepted untill Kumo got back ,and that won't be for a while She needed help now!!

"Hold on Gwen! Don't you die on me!" he said still walking on. But no matter what wolf clan he went to they all saidthe same thing.

"We don't help a marked traitor no matter what the deed!". he went to three small clans saying those words. The next clan will be a little more miles away which he knew was too far.

Finnally his body gave out of the cold. "Kuro get up you punk! She'll die if you stop now!!" he thought but his body was out.

He saw Gwen's body lying right next to him.still out cold. "Gwen......"  he said finally as he shut his eyes.

"Wake up! Wake up little one." A soft voice called to Gwen. She slowly opened her eyes to a beutiful black and white wolf with dark blue eyes. She smiled to Gwen. "Who are you?" she said quietly.

"I'm Cinder and this is the under gound clan of outcasts.We make our own clan." she said pointing to all the stray dogs and wolves gathered in the tunnel.  

"Kuro!! Where is he is he-" she began to panic. "Calm down he's sleeping over there." she said pointing to a tunnel with a black wolf sleeping at the end.

"Kuro!"she said runing to him. Cinder stopped her. "Let him rest for a bit. He walk a long mile to help you." she said.

Gwen looked to her wound and found it healing quickly. "I guess you're right." she said ears dropping.

"You can see him when he wakes up.Now tell me how did you two can to come here." she asked.

She walked with Gwen as she explain her life to her. "Wow! you must love the wolf alot to do all that!" she said to Gwen. Gwen nodded. "Where-I mean what is this clan you speak of?" Gwen asked.

"Its like when the falsey accused or the wolves who brokethe rules for good reasonsbut was cast out. This is a new home for them to start over." She explained to Gwen as they saw different wolves everwhere. 

"How did you come here Cinder?" she asked.

"I was a mate of an powerful alpha. His clan wanted him to lead ,with me and warriors, to the enemy clan and wipe them out even though they knew they were about to offer an peacful agreement. I refused to go with him so I was shunned." she said.

"But didn't he go after you?" Gwen asked. "No. He was loyal to the clan and kept our son so I probably wasn't missed." she said.

Wait! that was the same story Kuro had of his...

"Wait!! You're Kuro's Mother?" she looked at Cinder with wide eyes.

"You are smart kid. Yep. Looks like he tried to mold my son to his ways huh?" she said.

"Yea he's stiff but I love him any way." she smiled at her sleeping mate.

"Looks like you chose a good one." said Cinder.

she nodded shyly.   

"The clan is still cold as ever huh?" Cinder asked her. Gwen nodded.

"I can't go back. Now that I traded my freedom they won't accept me. Only Kuro can go." said Gwen sadly.

"Not if Kuro has to say aything about it. If he's my boy he won't let you go like his dad before." said Cinder.

"But-" "Listin Gwen It'll break his heart if you left him like I did." she said. Gwen sighed as she knew Cinder was right.

"But what can we do?" asked Gwen.

 "I can give you directions back to the clan but that's about it. I'm banished from there forever. You might need a witness in order to conferm what happened."she  said lying next to her son. 

"We do we just need to get back." said Gwen.

Cinder kissed the sleeping Kuro. "He's grownsince that little pup.Please tak care of my son. Give him my love since I can't be there." she said crying.

Gwen nuzzled her for comfort. "I promise I will!" she said.

"Thank you." she said as she slept by her son and Gwen too.

"Its time to wake up my son. Its time to go home." avoiced echoed in Kuro's head. "Mom. I can't go back after what they did to you and Gwen!!" He shouted.

The voice giggled. "Don't worry son! that mate of yours is commited to you. Even if they did she would have found a way to be with you. Now Wake up! Goodbye my son. My love is always there if you need it." the voice faded away.

"Mother!" he shouted. He woke to a underground tunnel with many dogs and wolves. "What? Where am I?" he asked as he looked around.

"Bout time you woke up." said a spunky voice he knew too well. "Gwen? You're alive!" he said he nuzzled his mate.

"Of course. But what about you? How are you feeling?" she asked.

"Fine. Most of my strengh has return to me. How did we get here?" he asked.

She was about to anwser him but rememered her promise not to tell him yet. It might make him even more stressed.

"A friend." she said. "We need to get back home Kuro. I'm sure that Kumo is ther already to clear our names." she said as Kuro raised his ached body.

"Why? That so-called-clan divied my parents and tried to get rid of you. I don't want to be a part of them anymore." said Kuro

Gwen sighed.

 "Its true of what you said. But you can make it better Kuro. You are the leader now. The good you can do can atone for the cold life they tried to pass on to all of usis just waitng for you. That's our home. Kuro you know it. We have to go." she said to him.

He growled knowing that her words were true.He sighed.

"Alright let's go." he said.

Kuro was about to go untill he saw a black and white wolf behind him. "Mom?" he thought. "Kuro time to go" He looked back and the wolf was gone! "MOM." he said as he went to Gwen.

Gwen had followed the directions that Cinder told her to use as Kuro was behind her. it was weeks before they got back.

"Finnally were almost there!" she said cheerfuly. Kuro was not very pleased of going back.

"Jeez. I wondered if Blade and Angel have grown yet?" she said to try to get Kuro to talk but it was useless.

"Oh come on! where's that passionate Kuro that I know and Love?" she teased him. He groaned.  

"Still the same aren't you-" she froze as she went in the bushes.

 "Gwen? GWEN! WHAT'S WRONG" he ran in front of her and saw the pack destroied all over the field.

Then he saw the earth caln rose from the mounrtain and howled.

 "Members! The Wind clan is gone forever form the lands. The land is ours for the taking!!" A voice called.

 As the moon rose it was none other than Drake!
