"You mean Keira, what's wrong with Keira?"I asked with a worried voice.

 "No,it's not Keira,She said,it's Minnesota.My old girl."

"Delilah what happened."I asked still with worry.

"Well,we went on a trip to Idaho, here. And we were driving in the car when...There was an accident!A semi-truck Was trying to make a u-turn on the highway. As it turne the back of the truck flipped over onto our car.I woke up half under it.Minnesota's eyes were still closed as well as her mom's,but her dad was dead.I crawled out the broken glass to get help but only got hit by another car.I fell down the ditch. And woke up in the animal hospital."

"The day I fell down the waterfall?"I asked

 "Yeah,I think so."

We were opposite dogs. She almost died so did I.My new human is her old human.Same thing for her.

Weeks passed.I finally decided I needed to get back to Minnesota.I said my goodbyes.I went over to Delilah,"Take care of Minnesota."She said.We nuzzled goodbye and I turned away to the journey back to my new home. Paws and Meow would stay here.

As I started to run,I heard a large boom.I ran faster and faster. But tripped and flew into a flip onto the ground as I felt a needle like object peirce thru my side.I yelped in pain. While on the other side of the forest,Delilah was just turning back to the house she heard my yelp. She turned around like a whip. And bolted to my aid.She dodged the next shot and flew to my side.I shot up and we together ran away toward Montana. As we ran we ran into a large drop in the earth. It all came back to me as I saw the waterfall. The hunters were closing in on us.

 "We have to jump!"Delilah barked

"But we'll be killed!"I barked back

"And we'll be killed if we don't" She yelped

"True..." I said trying to think, but Delilah didn't give me any time. She pushed me and herself over the falls. We yelped and screamed as we fell. After what seemed to be forever, we landed. Delilah made it to shore before I did. As I layed next to her. She whispered softly, "Take care of Minnesota..." Then she drifted away from life. I barked and howled and yelled, "Don't die Delilah. You can make it, you can make it!"

But she didn't respond. I layed beside her that night. And by morning she was stiff and motionless. "Goodbye...Delilah." I whispered. Then I howled out a sad, mornful dog howl. I had no choice but to leave.

I started off at a trot. And that day I made good time. I dug a nice sized hole in the dirt and layed down for the night. I was very weak from the gunshot and the fall.

I woke up around sunrise and started to trot again. It was starting to get hot and sunny.

By the end of the day I was close to Minnesota's house. I smelt her and started a mad dash towards her house. But stopped as I felt my heart skip a beat then two then three. I let out a sharp bark as I fell into the tall grass behind Minnesota's house to alert her that I was here. Her dog. Her Jericho.

Two minutes later she came out the door and saw my cremeish tan and dark brown fur. She rushed to my side. But started crying the minute she noticed I wasn't breathing. I had died that moment out of sorrow and injuries. As I was running my stomach twisted. And then my heart stopped.

Weeks after mine and and Delilahs death, Keira and Minnesota met. Together they cried long lost best friends. Paws and Meow whimered and cryed for us both.

As I walked up the golden staircase to the gateway of Heaven I stopped and looked back at the world. I would miss Keira and Minnesota, but now I have a new home with the gods and dogs of Heaven. I walked into the gates and stopped at the Heavens clerk. I paid him my soul and walked on toward the Rainbow Bridge. I crossed it and saw Delilah step out into the open. I rushed to her and we nuzzled. Now we were together again. We walked over the earth overlook and focused on our humans. We watched them every day and night. Now Delilah and I were together forever. We longed for the day that our humans would come up to Heaven and stay. We would all overlook the world toether, never to part or separate again.
