Her fur so soft,

Her eyes so bright,

Divine in every way,

so calm,

yet smart,

always knew,

what i wanted to do,

i was little,

not knowing how much i had,

intill it was gone.

We saw you,

starving,

so sad,

and neglected,

i felt pain as i watched,

they pulled you from the streets,

day after day i watched,

you grow in size,

growing close to my heart as well,

at school we did a project,

about our family and pets,

i was happy,glad  that i could tell everyone about you.

but on the day it was due i saw you sick,

so blue.

i cried when i saw you.

but the worst was yet to come.

when i got home,

i saw in shock,

you licked me once,

then you were falling over,

dead, and lifeless,

 i felt  lifeless too.
