"We are going to win!" shouted one of the sledge dogs. The team were dashing through the snow, hoping they would win. The other team were catching up with them.
"You realy think you can beat me?" boasted the other teams leader, Steele. Marina frowned angrily. She hated Steele, and he hated her too!
"We're almost there!" cried one of her teamates. Steele looked ahead. He spotted a big boulder. Steele smiled evily and headed towards it.
"Hey! Get out of my way you flee bagged mutt!" spat Marina angrily. She didnt want to lose to him. Steele quickly grabbed the plank of wood, which was holding the boulder still, between his teeth and yanked it away from the boulder. The huge boulder started rolling towards Marina and her team.
"What... OH NO!" screamed Marina. Marina skidded to a halt, turned around and started running in the opposite direction. The boulder was ganging in on them. All of her teamates screamed with fear as the boulder got closer and closer. It was almost touching one of the sledge dogs tails.
"AAARRGGHH!" cried the sledge dog at the back. He was so close to being squished like a pancake.
"Hahaha! See? I always win!" called Steele with a cheesey grin on his face.
"YOUR A CHEATER!" yelled Marina. She was as mad as ever. Steele laughed an evil laugh and ran towards the finish line.
"MARINA!" cried one of her teamates. Marina looked back to see the boulder was about to squish them all. She knew she would have to think fast before they were all doggy toast.
"Keep running! Faster! Faster!! FASTER!!!" shouted Marina. Then she spotted a cave...

"LEFT!" Marina cried. All of the dogs turned towards the cave. YELP! Marina looked back. NOOO! One of her teamates had been squished by the giant boulder. GASP! It was getting faster. The harness of the squished dog was caught on the boulder. It yanked them all back.
"CHEW YOUR HARNESSES!" Marina called. The dogs did what she said, for they trusted her with their lives. Their harnesses came of, then they all ran freely. There musher was squashed by the boulder. Then two dogs were squashed by the boulder. Marina tried to run faster.
"FASTER!!!!!!!" shouted Marina. She didnt want any more dogs to die. WHINE! One of the dogs were running too fast, and they tripped over.... SPLAT!

"Into the cave!" shouted Marina. She was starting to panic. Her heart was pounding frantically. Only 7 dogs out of ten were still alive. After the boulder had passed the cave, all 7 dogs went outside. They were surprised to find that they were lost! Marina didnt realise how long they had been running away from that boulder. All she did know was that she was in the middle on nowhere! Marina and her team walked for hours in search of someone to give directions. But they found knowone.... Her team began getting tired, so Marina found a place for them all to sleep. Whilst they slept, Marina wondered off, trying to find something interesting. All she found was a crisp packet that had been thrown onto the floor by a careless human. GROOWL! Marina's stomache was growling. So, she looked around, searching for prey. AHHA! Marina spotted a reindeer. It looked quite meaty too! She quietly sneeked behind a bush. The reindeer turned its head in the opposite direction of which Marina was standing. This was her chance! Marina quickly pounced onto its back, fourcing it to the ground. Happily, Marina ate a bit of the reindeer's leg. Then, she dragged it towards the place her team was resting.
"Oi! What do ya think yar doin?" a voice called. Marina was so surprised, she dropped the reindeer to the ground.
"Look's like some un' tryin to steal our prey!" the voice said again. Marina took a few steps back.
"Um, hello?" she asked nervously.
"Look er babe, this is our reindeer it is!" two wolves stepped forwards into the moonlight. One was brown and scruffy, the other was black and neat.
"Why you  tresspassin' in our territory?" the scruffy brown wolf said.
"Oh... I...."
"No exusez! I outta tell teh boss on you!" the scruffy wolf interupted.
"Stop it you idiot! Sorry, as you can see, he has no brains!" the black wolf said.
"I do too! You are da un wit no brens!" the brown wolf argued.
"Why does he talk like that?" asked Marina.
"Just ignore him!" the black wolf said.
"I as an akent I do!" the brown wolf boasted.
"Shut up! Your embarrising both of us!" spat the black wolf.
"Um..." Marina interupted.
"Oh, sorry. Im Oran, and this is.... Dur brain," introduced the black wolf.
"My nems not dur bren! My nems elvis!" the brown wolf said.
"Your names Jakie..." Oran corrected.
"Is it? I mean... I new dat!" said Jakie.
"Um...." Marina interupted again.
"Lets tak her to da ledder!" Jakie said.
"Listen, just drop that stupid.... 'akent' already!" Oran was annoyed.
"Fine!" growled Jakie.

A while later, Oran and Jakie had taken Marina to their leader.
"And who is this?" their leader said.
"This is....." Jakie began.
"My name is Marina," Marina explained.
"Fineally! He got rid of that idiotic accent!" the leader said.
"She was stealing prey.." Oran began.
"WHAT? AFTER ALL WE HAVE BEEN THROUGH, SOME MUTT COMES AND STEALS OUR ONLY PREY?!" the leader was furious.
"Well... I didnt know... I thought.... I..." Marina was too afraid to talk. The leader seemed very angry.
"I DONT WANT TO LISTEN TO YOUR EXCUSES! WHAT ARE YOU ALL WAITING FOR? KILL HER!" the leader spat. All 35 wolves in his pack growled angrily. Marina stared at them, wide eyed. Then she turned around and ran to her team as quick as she could. All of the wolves were running behind her. Her team heard her running and they all woke up.
"RUUUUN!" yelled Marina, the wolves were hot on her heels.
"GET BACK HERE!" growled one of the wolves behind her. Her team got up and ran as fast as they could. Soon, they were all running in the same direction.
"HELP MEEE!" cried one of her teamates. A wolf pounced onto him and bit into his skin.
"AAAAARRGGHH!" another teamate was caught by the wolves.
"Quick! Into that cave!" Marina called as she headed towards a deep, dark cave. She and her teamates entered the gloomy cave. All the wolves stopped in their tracks as they approached the cave.
"Are they following us?" asked one of her teamates.
"I dont think so..." panted Marina breathlessly.When she looked back, Marina was surprised to see only 4 of her teamates survived.

Marina and her team rested in the cave for a couple of days. Little did they know, they were in grave danger!
"Could you please stop dribbling on me?" one of the teamates said one night.
"Who's dribbling on you?" asked Marina puzzled.
"Huh?" her team mate looked up.
"Just get some rest!" Marina yawned.
"B-b-b-BEEEEAAAAR!" screamed her team mate.
"What?!" Marina asked cautiously. She was being as aware as she could.
"BEEA...." her team mate did'nt have time to finish. Marina looked up. Red stained the wall. Then she looked down. GASP! She starred wide eyed at her team mates dead corpse. ROOOAR! Marina looked up to see a gigantic BEAR!
"BEAR!" cried Marina. All of her team mates woke up and ran out of the cave. Marina sook realised this was why the wolves did'nt follow her into the cave.
"AAAAAAAAH!" another dog was killed. Marina ran and ran as fast as she could. Suddenly, a familiar smell hit her nose. It was.... HOME! She followed the scent, not realising all her team mates were killed by the vicious bear.
"STASH!" called Marina. She was really panicing now. Stash heard her call and came running as fast as he could. The bear was now in Nome! Humans ran around in circles, screaming with fright.
"ATTACK!" a human shouted and all of the dogs of Nome attacked the huge bear immediatly. A few dogs were killed, but after a fearsome fight, the bear fell to the ground with a thud.
"Where have you been?! I was so worried!" cried Stash.
Marina responded:
"Well, it all started when I Lost My Trail..."
