watching him take out the guards without breaking a sweat. The last two guards struck at the same time but the young man blocked them both with his sword over his head. He pushed up causing the guards to lose their balance; he took this chance with his right hand he stabbed one guard and pulled out a pistol with his left and shot the other in the leg, and arm causing him to fall over. He took his sword out of the guard’s stomach walked over to the other guard who was on one knee. He stopped as he got close and looked carefully at him. “Are you one of them?” he said softly. The guard looked at him with blood shot eyes. He sniffed him at little and then stopped. “Oh yeah.” He said slicing him with his sword. Luna walked slowly toward him only to stop noticing that he saw her. “Well, well didn’t know foxes came to worship too.” He said not knowing the two could understand him. “You kind of went too far with this slaughtering of the old man and the guards don’t you think?” Luna asked. "Ahh so you can understand me eh." the young man said. "Yep clear as a whistle." Nero said. "Well that's new." The young man said walking away. "Hey! You didn't answer my question." Luna said echoing in front of him. "I don't have to answer anything." The young man said grabbing the fox by the neck and throwing her back to Nero. "Okay you asked for this." Luna said getting up. Luna slid on the ground after kicking him and shot light needles at him. The young man blocked the needles with his sword but the power of them caused him to drive his sword into the pillar. Luna took this chance and jumped toward him as he was about to pull his sword out of the pillar. She kicked the sword hard making it stay in the pillar and flipped off seeing that the young man tried to sweep kick her. The young man pulled two pistols out and Luna’s claws started to glow with light energy preparing to fire into needles. Both had their long-range weapons pointing at each other at the same time. “Easy to piss off eh vixen?” The young man said. “The name’s Luna the fox who going to own you” Luna said. “Names Marcus sup, but I doubt you could own me even if you wanted to.” Marcus smirked. "You little!" Luna said shooting needles at Marcus but he jumped in the air to avoid them. Luna jumped toward him and wrapped her legs around him while he was in the air. Marcus shot a bullet at her face but she dodged, she shot a needle at his face but he dodged. As they fell, Marcus tried to get out of her hold but she would not let go. "Okay time to get off." Marcus said grabbing her and spinning around. The force of the spin caused Luna to lose her grip on him and she flew off toward another pillar. Marcus landed back on the pillar with his sword in it. Luna who landed on another pillar close to his ran, jumped and delivered a pendulum kick down on Marcus who was trying to get his sword out off the pillar. Time slowed down as Luna came down on him but he took his hand off the sword popping it out off the pillar. Marcus grabbed it and swung down hard on Luna who blocked it by making an energy shield but it shattered sending her rolling down the pillar. “Come vixen is that all you got?” Marcus taunted as Luna landed on the ground. Luna watched as he jumped off the pillar and landed a few feet away from her. “No it's not." Luna said. "So, are you up for another round vixen?" Marcus said. “Oh yeah.” Luna said shooting needles at Marcus who deflected the needles by shooting them. “Going to have to do better than that.” Marcus said. “True so how about this.” Luna said forming the light energy into a small sword. "That's a little better." Marcus said taking his sword out. Luna blinked and Marcus disappeared. She took one-step and he appeared behind her and swung but she echoed toward the pulpit. "But not good enough." Marcus said. Luna growled and charged at Marcus swinging her blade down on him but he blocked it with ease. She jumped back and tried to stab him but he dodged with ease causing her to stumble. Marcus took this chance and swung his sword at her but she blocked. Luna pushed up hard with her sword breaking Marcus's guard and swung twice at him. He blocked one, jumped to avoid the other, and swung down at Luna as he landed. She blocked but the force caused her to slide a bit. Luna swung one last time at Marcus but he swung at the same time. The pressure of the impact caused her sword to dissolve, Marcus then charged straight at Luna with his sword in hand. Luna saw and charged at him about to punch the sword with her paw glowing. The impact of the two powers hitting each other caused an aftershock that sent pews flying. Nero saw this coming and flipped up toward a ledge above while the Luna and Marcus continued their fight. Marcus saw that his sword did nothing to her paw and noticed a mark on her back glowing. "Oh vixen has a trick up her sleeve eh?" Marcus said realizing what the mark was. "So is this good enough for wolf boy?" Luna asked. Marcus smirked. "But if it’s a trick you want try THIS! Luna said grabbing his blade and throwing him aside. "Well not a fox but a Kyubi and two of them too.” Marcus said resting his sword on his right shoulder. “All right time to wrap this show up wolf boy. Luna said echoing toward him. Marcus saw her appear in front of him, and kick. He dodged so many attracts by Luna that he tripped backward. She saw this echo right in his face and punched at him. Marcus blocked the punch with his sword but the mark increased the impact and sent him flying. Luna grabbed him by the foot while he was flying back she moved the sword out of the way and struck again which sent him to the ground. The power of the punch sent his sword flying into the air and landed right beside them. Luna got on top of him and stared punching him with one paw, the other, both, then just started slashing him with her claws. As she stared to stop, she noticed he was not bleeding at all. Marcus growled at her when she stopped and his eyes turned gold with slits in them. She saw this grabbed him by the throat and threw him toward the pillar that his sword was stuck it, pulled his sword out of the ground and threw it in the same direction. Marcus hit the pillar bounced and was about to fall but the sword Luna threw impaled him in the chest. Marcus grabbed the sword slowly before going limp. “I couldn’t own you even if I wanted to huh?” Luna asked. “You look pretty dead to me wolf boy.” Luna said walking away. Nero landed beside her followed. “Not bad.” A voice said. The two foxes turned to the pillar where Marcus was. “I actually say I underestimated you.” Marcus said pulling himself from the pillar and landing on the ground the sword through his body. “You aren’t human are you?” Nero said. “Yes and no really.” Marcus said pulling the sword out of his body and putting it on his back. “You still didn’t answer my question wolf boy.” Luna said getting on all fours. “Well to answer that those guys aren't what you call human. Marcus said pointing to the guards and the old man. The foxes walked over to where they were and Luna jumped back. "What is this thing?" Luna said seeing that the strange long tentacles sticking out of their bodies. "Those are parasites that I've been trying to take out for a while so watch your back if you see any more in this city." Marcus said. The two continued to stare at the corpses until Nero looked up to see Marcus gone. He sniffed the air and knew he was still around. "How do we know you didn't create them?" Nero asked. "Trust me I wouldn’t kill my own creation." Marcus said. The foxes looked up to see where he first entered through the glass ceiling. "I wonder by how strong you are you must have four tails by now, you do know how to get the fifth right?" Marcus asked. The foxes where silent for a moment. "I'll give you a hint that friendship you two have won't be enough to get it." Marcus said. "What are you talking about?" Luna shouted. "You will see young foxes you will see." Marcus said walking away. "HEY!" Nero shouted echoing toward him only to see him disappear. Luna joined Nero on the roof of the Cathedral looking for Marcus. "Adios foxes" Marcus said far off at the edge of the Cathedral. They both echoed toward him but he leaned back off the edge. When they reached the edge, they looked over it but did not see him. Chapter III: A Haven

“What happened here?!” A guard shouted. More came to see the inside of the Cathedral destroyed. A legion of guards on the outside saw Luna and Nero. “Those foxes did this.” A guard said. “No way their just animals how could they do this. Another guard said. “RUN!” Nero shouted to Luna as they both took off. “Don’t let them escape!” The captain of the guards said. The foxes ran on the side of the Cathedral until they jumped landing on a nearby building. The legion of soldiers followed them but stopped. “Send the strike team.” The captain said on a communicator. “I don‘t like this Nero.” Luna said. The foxes continued running but stopped as a legion off heavy armored solider with pistols on their side, gauntlets on their arms, and gas masks came out of nowhere. “Take em down.” A solider said. “Great more trouble.” Nero said as he dodged a few punches and kicks by the guards. “Come on Nero at least you get to have some fun too.” Luna said slashing a guard with her claws. The fight went on for a while but the soldiers didn’t stand a chance. “Only ten punks left.” Luna said echoing to dodge bullets being shot at her. Nero shot a large blast of dark energy at three soldiers knocking them off the building. “Too easy-.” Nero started to say but was interrupted by a painful cry.
