So you found out why wolves never cry eh? Good cause not it’s time for my story and theirs, but mainly theirs. Those two foxes and I have a long story to tell you are you ready?

Chapter I: Escape

Rain poured down as dark clouds covered the sky. Through the rain, a large airship was floating by slowly and it was caring animals that were going to be exterminated. Inside the ship on the first floor, an animal was stirring out of its sleep. Nero, a young black fox awoke slowly. His head hurt for some reason. "Wha- what happened?" He thought. Nero looked around and saw that he was in a large cage with three bars to the north of him. "Curse these humans." Nero said. "Just five more minutes mom." A voice said. Nero looked behind himself to see another fox with him. Nero walked toward the other fox and nudged it with his paw. "Hey, wake up." Nero said. "Uhh...huh?" the fox mumbled. She looked up at Nero who was just staring at her. "Whoa! Who are you?" She asked backing away. "Names Nero." He said. "Nero huh, I'm Luna." She said. "So what are you in for huh?" Nero asked. "I was thirsty, so I went to get some water by the stream, when I tried to the humans shot this dart thing at me after it hit I started to get sleeper and sleeper until I passed out. A stream of water, was it the same one I was at? Nero thought. "Next thing I knew you woke me up." Luna said finishing. "Humans are relentless when hunting us huh? Nero said walking back and forth. "Yeah" Luna said looking for a way out. "So, I see your ready to get out of this place right?" Nero asked. "I thought you would never ask." Luna said walking up to the bars about to knock them down. "Whoa, whoa you don't have to use such force." Nero said put his paw on her shoulder. "Take the bars down like that and every guard will be down here, and that is not something I want on my tail." Nero said. "I guess we should take a more silent approach huh?" Luna asked. "Yes that would be good to do." Nero answered. The two foxes stared at the bars trying to find the best way to take them out quietly. "I got it!" Luna said. "Came up with something?" Nero asked. "Oh yeah." Luna said pouncing on Nero. "Hey what are you doing?" Nero asked pushing her off him. "Come on Nero go with me on this I bet we cause enough ruckus and noise one of the guards has to come and unlock this cage and move us to keep us quiet." Luna said. "Not bad of a plan." Nero said pouncing on her. Only to have Luna flip him sending him right into the metal wall of the cage. The sound of snarling and growling caught one of the guard's attentions as he was patrolling. He had a light armor suit, a gas mask on and a few gas grenades. As he walked down the stairs, he saw Nero and Luna snarling and growling at each other. He walked toward the cage getting a key card out of his suit. "All right enough with the fighting." He said sliding the key card on the panel and pressing a few buttons. The cage opened and the two foxes stopped fighting and looked up at him. “Okay it seems like I have to move ya.” The guard said starting to grab Luna, only have Nero trip him causing him to fall toward Luna‘s legs. “Yep looks like it.” Luna said breaking his neck with her legs. Seeing that the plan worked Nero took the card key from the guard's body. “This card should help us get off the airship.” Nero said looking at it. “How do you know it's an air-” Before she could finish her sentence the entire place started to shake causing Nero and Luna to fall into each other and into a wall. The instant Luna fell into Nero he saw a blinding flash of light, and she exhaled a black smoke. “Wait you have the power of darkness?” Luna asked. “Yes, and you have the power of light I see. Nero answered. “You got that right.” Luna said getting off him. As they got out of the cage using the card, Nero saw a ladder leading out of the ship. However, there were a million stairs to climb to get there. "Let's see if I still have my speed." Nero said looking at the stairs. Luna blinked once while watching Nero only to see him vanish and reappear at the ladder. "I see you mastered echoing." Luna said as she mimicked his movement and joined him at the ladder. "You have to I see." Nero said as he started climbing the ladder. Luna following behind Nero up the ladder noticed a small mark on the side of Nero's back. "A Kyubi seal eh, I've meant to ask since the seal also how many tails have you gotten?" Luna asked. "Four and trying to get the fifth one." Nero answered. "You too huh cool." Luna said. The two reached the top of the ladder and saw a sealed opening. “I got this.” Nero said as his paw glowed with dark energy and he punched through it. As got out of the hole Nero had created fat round person with heavy amour greets the foxes on and plasma cannon for a right arm. "Delacroix will pay big bucks to the guy who takes you out Nero and luckily it’s me so prepare to DIE!" The man said. "Oh come on is anything easy?" Nero said getting up on his hind legs. "Get out one hole to fall in another." Luna joked getting on her hind legs. "DIE!” The man said as he fired a blast from his cannon. Nero and Luna easily dodged the blast but the rain causing them to slip and slide around on the top of the ship. "Thanks to this rain be better be careful, but give me a sec I got this guy." Nero said echoing behind the man and tried to slash with his claws but the man had a special radar in his left eye to see two steps ahead Nero and grabbed him by the neck, shocked him, and blasted him with the plasma cannon sending him flying almost off the ship. He landed toward the edge and saw the guy about to fire again but Luna stopped him by shooting light needles at him. "He's not the only one you have to deal with big man." Luna taunted seeing the needles in his back. Nero charged at the man shooting a dark fireball at him. The saw the coming and absorbed the blast into his cannon and launched it at Luna. "Watch out!" Nero shouted. Luna saw it but could only create a light shield to block which shattered sending her sliding back. "Okay time to go fat man." Nero said echoing toward him and got right in his face. The man was about fire only to stop seeing two steps ahead again to see him echo to the side of him. Nero did exactly what he saw and went to the side of him. The turned toward Nero and was about to fire but he just stood there. Luna who’s paw started to pierce through the amour and through the man. "I told he's not the only one." Luna said pulling her paw out of the man's gut. The man fell to the ground dead blood coming out of him. Nero walked over to him on all fours. "Ouch you don't have to be so mean." Nero joked. "Oh shut up Nero!" Luna said nudging him. The airship itself seemed to lower to the ground and the two slid off the side and landed in a small city. "Ugh I never liked the rain. Luna whined running. "Come on I see a cathedral we can rest in there." Nero said. They saw that the door to the cathedral was open slightly and squeezed in. Inside Luna shook off all the water in her fur and Nero did the same “Ahh so glad to that water out of my fur. Luna said yawning. “Best to get some sleep huh?” Nero said. “Yeah.” Luna said lying down in pew. Nero joined her on it but laid at little bit away from her. It was only after Luna shiver a little that she crawled toward Nero and laid her head under his. They both blushed at little but went to sleep soon after. (Note: Echo- a movement technique that allows foxes to move faster than the eye can follow.)

(Kyubi Seal- A mark given to Foxes at birth. Using this mark increases their strength, speed, heals their wounds quickly. Along with a second tail, the mark forms a pattern on them when used.)

Chapter II: Cathedral Massacre

The Cathedral doors opened and humans with tan hoods entered. The noise of their footsteps awoke the two were sleeping in a pew far in the back. "All right time to go" Nero said getting off the pew and walking toward the far back. Luna followed looking back at the large crowd of people. "There's so many of them, wonder what their doing." Luna asked. "I’ve heard that humans use Cathedrals and some other places for a place of worship. Nero answered. "Hmm but worship what though?” Luna asked. “Who knows?” Nero said sitting in the shade. Luna looked at the sun shining through the colored glass windows. She looked carefully as if seeing something. “So this must be the so called holy man, pope or whatever these humans call him.” Nero said seeing an old man with a white robe and a big cone shaped hat on stood in front of everyone. Guards with large swords stood on the left and right of him. In front of everyone. “Oh no don’t tell me he’s about to preach.” Luna said covering her ears. The man started to speak to people. But it was only after Nero and Luna started walking toward the door that they hear glass breaking. “What the!?” Nero said seeing a young man in a gray hoodie, worn black faded jeans with black sweatbands on land in front of the old man who was speaking. “What is the meaning of this-” the old man started to say only to have the young man put a silver pistol right in his face and fired. People screamed and fled out off the cathedral. “Okay who is this guy?” Luna said as the people ran behind her and Nero. “You’re Holiness!” An armed guard said as he and the others pulled out their swords. The young man turned around to face them. Wielding his own large double-edged sword with a wolf’s face on the handle jumped from the pulpit where the old man was and kicked one of the guards sending him flying. As the young man landed, one of the guards behind him struck with his sword but the young man blocked it and back kicked him sending him into another guard knocking them both out cold. “Darn kid!” A guard said as he swung his sword at him only to have the young man dodge his attack, kick him to the ground, and drive his sword through his chest. “This guy’s out of control.” Luna said watching him take out
