Mina was walking in the street early in the moring so no one could see her.

She walk to the beach to watch the sunrise.

She inhailed the breeze coming from the water. Old memores filled her mind. She saw the days when she played on the beach with her sister as her parents watched.

she sighed."Good times.." she said. The wind howled against the water.

It reminded her of Zephyr. So mysterious, and smart yet there was something about him unknown to perhaps everyone he met. She wanted to see that other side of him. Was she in love with him or just curious?

Impossable! She just met him a few days ago.  

Zephyr barley slept last night. His nightmares grew everytime he shut his eyes. All the screams and blood from his past haunted him. His friends and family: Gone. All Those he tried to protect were slaughtered or abandoned him.

  Alone. That was the word that would find that would describe his pain.

 

He heard barking from the side of the ship. He went to see who was there ready to attack it. He snuck off the boat and followed the barking.

"Won't sneak up on me this time!"he said as he lepted at the dog.

 

Mina hear somone from behind. Before she turned around she was tackled by a huge dog or wolf. "Won't sneak on me this time!" the dog or wolf said as he bared his teeth prepairing to kill her.

Then Mina saw who he was. "Zephyr?" she said. He stopped and looked at the dog under him. "Oh! Its you! Mina right?" he asked getting off of her.

"Yeah. What was that all about? You always tackle your friends?" she asked. Zephyr's eyes went to the ground. "Sorry. I'm not use to a place so peaceful." 

"What do you mean?" she asked sitting next to him. He noticed her then backed away from her.

"I would never stay in one place too long .With me it might be trouble staying. Too dangerous." he said.

"Dangerous?" she asked. "I...I shouldn't have said that. I got to go." He said getting up.

"Wait! I wanted to give you something for saving my life." she said. "I thought you pushing out of your house was payment." he said.

"Well here's another. Close your eyes for a moment." said Mina. "What kind of gift I need if I have to close my eyes?" he asked puzzled. "Oh! Just do it!!" she shouted.

He grumbled under his breath as he did as he was told. It was a moment with him just standing. He tapped his paw waiting for her to hurry.

Then He felt something warm against his lips. "Huh?" he thought. He opened his eyes and saw Mina kissing him on the lips. He slightly tried to move from her but he too came to accept the kiss.         

He pressed hard against her lips. She moaned a little as they kissed.

Then he stopped. "No!! I can't!!" he said. "Can't what?" she asked.

He looked at her for a moment. " Just stay away from me! You'll get killed just talking to me." he said runing away.

"Zephyr!! Wait! Don't go!" Mina said but he ran faster. She sighed as she retured to her home. 

 

 Zephyr slowed down as soon as he thought he was far enough. "Little Raven. where have you been?" said a dark voice.

He turned to find a wolf with purple and black markings. "Nightshade. I thought I lost you on the moutain trail." said  Zephyr.

"That brain of yours is missing a few cells." said Nightshade. "I'll find you no matter where you run."

"What do you want from me?" Zephyr asked. "I saw you got another one under your love spell. Wasn't Kira your mate? Oh! I forgot that you killed her. Sorry. Hehe!" said Nightshade. 

"I didn't kill her!!" he shouted. "Keep telling yourself that. At least try not to lose this one. Wait! Does she even know that you- "  Zephyr interupted. "Leave her out of it!! I have no ties to her." he said.

Nightside smiled. "We'll see about that." The wolf faded into the night.

"Mina.....What have I done?" he said sittting as the wind howled in the darkness.

 

Mina was in her bed sleeping.

She was dreaming about Zephyr. He was walking with two...no...three wolves in a misty fog. One looked just like him another was a female. The last one was black and purple but it was attacking Zephyr.

"Zephyr!!" she said runing to help. She started to fight the wolf. The wolf eaisly defeated Mina. "you're no match for me but I'll let you live. If you know what's good for you you mind your own business!" The voice said.

She woke up yelping. "Mina?" what's wrong a nightmare Come to my room okay?" said  Teri as she petted her and picked her up.

Even though she was with Teri she still couldn't sleep fearing the nightmare.

 

a few weeks later Teri was out for the day so Mina tried to visit her friends and talk about her dream. She hasn't seen Zephyr in a while and began too worry. "Why does he want to leave so badly?" she asked herself.

Then she spotted Sora and Mya  hanging out near the race. She trotted to them. "Mina! If Granite sees you he'll tear you apart!" said Sora.

"Granite? I thought he couldn't race for a month." said Mina confused.

"He recovered quickly. Racing is his life! He wouldn't give up that eaisly." said Mya.

"Yeaah! He's a stubborn one alright." said Mina.

"Hey! Here they come!" said Sora. They all gathered to the sideline while Mina was in the back hidding alittle from Granite's eyes.

"WoW! They're coming in fast!" said Mya. "Yeah!! Too fast! The sled is out of control!!" said Mina with wide eyes.

She was right. The sled swerved left and right. The brace kept tripping and pulling the dogs everywhere. THey finally gave as the line snapped with the dogs tossed to the sidline. The sled was too fast too stop.

A human was so exited he moved closer to see . The human stepped on Mina's paw.She yelped in pain which caused the human to move alot. She was pushed into the path of the sled.

"Mina!! Get out of there!!" said Mya. "Run!! Move!!" said Sora. said trying to  move to her but too crowded.

 

The sled was going to fast even if she ran it would still hit her.

 

 

Zephyr was walking into town after weeks of hiding and plaing where would he go next. He was looking around and thought "Where did everyone go?"

Then his mind felt and evil ora around the middle of town .He follwoed it.

He saw humans all over the sidlines. Then one shouted "Someone help that poor dog!" then he eard a voice call out "Mina get out of there!!"

Mina!!

He ran through the humans to see Mina in the way of a seriously fast sled with no dogs.

He quickly ran to her side. She looked to him scared. "Get away you'll get hit too!" she shouted.

He didn't even listin. He calmly stepped in front of her. He closed his eyes for a second. Then  his eyes glowed red then a spark came from his body then the sled glwed red too! It slowed dow in front of them.

"Wha- What did you-" She stuttered. "Let's go!!" he said pulling her along as he ran. THe others including the humans were too shocked by what they saw to do anything.

They were both in the forest. He let go of Mina. "What are you?" she asked him. He turned from her.

"I...I can move things with my mind. I didn't want to tell you because I wa afraid you run or get hurt like ever one I met in my life." he said not facing her.

"Why didn't you trust me? If you gave me a chance-"  "No! it wasn't that. I was born from a powerful wolf.

He could read to the minds of others. My mom was wind for her ablilty. My brother controled lighting. He wanted to harness both of our powers but one day my power went out of control.

Then it went black. When I woke up every one was dead but my dad wasn't there.

"Oh! I'm sorry. I didn't know." she said nuzzling him.

"I can't be with you every person I met has been killed or lost everything." he said crying. She watch him with sorrow. " Zephyr I ...I had a nightmare about you."she said He turned in horror.

"That wasn't a dream it was kind of a vison. f you stay with me you could possilbly die." he said runing away.

"But I love you Zephyr!!" she screamed but the wolf ran into the moolit forest and far from her sight.
