Under the Sea

Chapter 1:
"Oh boy, can't wait to see the sun come up again!" Susie said to her friend, Leah the fish. "Ah, yeah, okay, well I'm not able to see, you know the sun rise, but in the afternoon I can see it from the water, you are very lucky! You can go on the water's surface like a dolphin! I wish I could be like you." Leah said to Susie. "No, its not always great, I only have a few hours, and anyways, you are smaller, so you get to hide in small places, and creek into cracks to get food, and be praised by all of us. You are very lucky too." Susie said back to Leah. "I am, sorta! Okay, that only made me feel a bit better... but you are still the luckiest sea creature in the sea!" Leah said rather loudly. "All right, I think we should stop talking about this. Anyway, I have to do my duty, and help the young get to bed. Okay?" Susie said while swimming to the little coral beds. "Want me to help you Susie?" Leah asked. "If you want to, that would be great!" Susie replied. Then they both helped and tucked in all the little baby/kid sea creatures.

""I'm going to go look up at the stars tonight, Kay? Then I'll go to bed mom." Susie told her mother. "Okay, but I'm warning you, you have to be careful that no boats are coming, and that you're not up there too long." Her mother said. "Alright mom!" Susie said while racing herself to the top of the water. Then she laid her back against the surface of the water, and made herself comfortable, trying to resist the little pain. Then she stared at the stars, and saw the half moon. It was so beautiful. She thought to herself. 3 hours passed, she fell asleep! Then by her mother, she was awakened. "Get up dear!" Susie's mom shouted. "AH!" Susie said as she woke up very weakly. Then before she could say anything to her mother, she swam to her coral bed with sea weed as a blanket,  and went underwater in a rush. "Man, I felt so stinking dry!! It was terrible!" Susie said. "Yeah, well, get to sleep, there is another day waiting for you.

(8:00 AM) Susie slowly wakes up, but then remembers, she had to wake up some of the sea creatures!! So, then she ran to wake them all up. It took her 1 hour, but she did it, everyone was late for their duty."Darn! I missed the sun rise!" Susie said to herself. "Yeah, and I got to see it." said Leah from behind her. "Hey! Where did you come from!" Susie asked Leah. "Oh, Ive been up, I was trying to find you, but then I couldn't find you until I saw you waking up everyone..." Leah replied. "Oh, Okay." Susie said. "Hey, wouldn't it be cool if I could actually go on land?" Susie asked Leah. "Yeah, that would be like so  awesome!" Leah replied. "I had a dream last night, that I could go into the forest, for days, and wouldn't get dried up at all! It was so amazing." Susie told Leah. "That would be something!" Leah re pied. "Well, I better go now, I'm going to cook!!" "Okay...." Leah said surprised. Then Susie swam to the kitchen, and looked inside the ingredients book. It said:

Chopped Spicy Clams~ 7 clams, 2 hot peppers, salt, and pepper.

Fried Seaweed~ 2 pounds of seaweed,  and sugar

Shark meat~ 1 whole shark, seaweed, clams, and peppers.

"Hey cool, that was written by my mom, Jean Drench!" Susie whispered to herself.

"Yeah, your mom is an excellent cook! Hey is it okay if well,--" "Wait a sec, don't tell me you want to cook?" Susie asked Leah. "Actually, I do. Plus, I really want a shell phone. My mother said I have to raise my own money to get one though... how about we both raise money to buy them, we could make these foods, and then sell them. What do you say?" "Hmm, I guess that's not a bad idea. Yes, I did always want a shell phone too... okay, lets get started, I'm sure my mom won't mind." Susie said. "Great!Now, lets get started!" Leah said with a huge smile on her face.

Money

Chapter 2:

After they got lots of recipes made, the brought the shop outside. A seahorse swam by, "Oh I'd love to raise money for you kids. I'll take some of that shark meat!" The male seahorse said while handing Susie and Leah each a 25$ bill with a 2$ tip. Hours flew by, and by the end of the day, Susie and Leah each made 130$ dollars. Plus, the shell phone was only $50, so they could chose what else they wanted to buy. "Wow!! Look at this money we got!" Leah said in a way that told me she was tired. "*Yawn* I know Leah, were going to be -- *Yawn* rich." Susie told Leah. "We'd better get to bed now." Leah explained. "Okay, see you later then." Susie said while gliding over to her coral bed.

"Wake up doll face!" A lady said. I knew she was my new school teacher. "Oh hello Mrs. Weeds. Its nice to finally meet you!" I said, now woken up completely. " Yes dear, but, now it is time for school!" Mrs. Weeks said with a slight smile. "Oh! I..am...late?? Well, I better get up and off to school now!" Susie said while getting off her bed. "Yes, that would be best for now." Mrs. Weeds said. As I got dressed and off to school as I was told to, when I entered the class, I saw the most cutest boy ever! "Hey over here!" He called to me. So I swam over to see what he wanted. "Yes?" I asked suspiciously. "You sit right over here." He said while pointing to the empty desk next to him. "Oh, thanks" I said as I went to sit down. As class passed, It was now lunch break. But of course, my mother packed me a pound of shark meat. Everyone was staring at me though, as if I was wearing bright yellow to school. But, I didn't. I thought my outfit matched with everyone Else's outfit. Weird. "Hey is that you Susie?" A sweet voice called. I hoped in wasn't that boy that was in my class earlier today. Nope, it was Leah! "Oh my God, its you Leah!" I said while my face lit up with a huge smile. "I bought a shell phone yesterday! Did you?" Leah asked me. "Yep, I bought one a week ago actually." I told her while looking at my food to decide what to eat first.

"Oh, well as usual, you are lucky!" Leah said.
