“I’m agreeing with Ralph…” Kirby added, “Kodi, give it up! You want a rematch to be a winner, don’t you?”

          “No, it’s just a practice before,” Kodi reasoned himself, “Now is the real race.”

          “A practice?” Ralph wasn’t sure enough.

          “So, then…” Kodi looked at Reina, “C’mon! Let’s race again! Just once more!”

          “I… Umm…” Reina was hesitated while looking Kodi’s pleading, “Well, I think it’s fine if it’s just once again.”

          “Okay, it’s set then…” Kodi said happily.

          The race was started for a second time. What made different was only 2 people joined it. Both of Kodi and Reina set their foot again, the suddenly, they rushed forward. This time, the red husky used whatever he got in him to make sure the white wolf wouldn’t catch up. While Reina was left behind more far away than before, Kodi began speeding up each time his foot touched the ground. But, it wouldn’t last long because Reina was catching up with him. Slowly, the same happened again when Reina began running beside, then in front of Kodi.

          Knowing he started losing, he used his all of remaining energy in order not to loose for a second time. While he pumped his muscle hard, he shut off his eyes, focusing only to run. Even he couldn’t see, he began reaching Reina. And slowly then, he almost caught up until suddenly, he didn’t realize he was too close to her. The minute he realized, he already crashed with her. They then rolled together, swirling their own head until stopped. Once they stopped, Kodi ended at below Reina just like before. Their nose touched.

          “Are you alright?” Reina asked.

          “I’m alright,” Kodi answered, “Get out of me now!”

          Reina quickly moved from Kodi. The red husky then got up from her, shaking his head. While he was doing that, his other friend came up to look for him.

          “I told you before…” Kirby started, looking to others, “He will be stumbled.”

          Kodi didn’t pay attention at his friends. When they were laughing, Kodi just gazed at Reina. He thought she had already humiliated him by defeating him in the race. He knew he must train hard to give back what she had done.

          “Hey, someday I will beat you in race…” he started, looking to Reina.

          Reina just smiled. Even Kodi didn’t know what it meant, one thing for sure, he would beat her at the next time.
