Zane was playing in the woods with him friends.(or atleast thats what he called them.)Suddeny a rabbit bounded before them."Oh I'm Soooooo hungrey...."Zach moaned."Well lets go and see if we can find some food."Zane smiled."NO I ment the rabbit!"Zach yelled."We can't go after that!We'll get in trouble!"Zane yelled.Zack rolled his eyes."Ugh....how many times do I gotta tell ya? Who cares what are parents say?"He laughed.Mark walked around them."That is of course..... unless your scared?"He barked."I'm not scared, I just-"

"Your a mama's boy?Is that it?"They teased."NO I- ggrrruugghhh....Fine!"Zane growled.They looked for the rabbit and found it nibbling on some grass.The three shot out when they relized that the bush it was nearby was a thorn bush.They landed face first into it."THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT ZANE!"Zack roared.

"What?I said NOT to go hunt!"He growled.They began to fight when Mark jumped in and broke them up."C'mon Zack, we need to get home, you too Zane."He said.As Mark and Zack were walking home, Zack turned around."FREAK!"He yelled and ran.Zane watched them leave.He knew if ge went home, he would eat, go to bed, wake up the next day, and be expected to go play with Mark and Zack again. No....I'm tierd of this...I'm leaving.He thought to himself and ran off.

Meanwhile, Zasha had brung home a deer and the pups were busy eating."Have you seen Zane?"Zasha asked Shade."No, but he comes home late alot, he'll be here soon."Shade smiled."I guess."Zasha sighed.

Zane was running in a meadow, he had passed the forest, and it was getting late,and cold.He started to turn back when a Young mountain lion jumped infront of him."And just were to you think your goinng?"She hissed."Back home. It's getting cold and dark out."He cried."Well that's to bad, but NOBODY huntsw in MY forest and NIGHT!"She yelled."But I'm not goinng to hunt, I just want to go home."Zane begged."Yeah yeah. Wolves come here all the time saying "My pack is in thier."She growled."Then what do you do?"Zane asked."First I warn them...then...I......KILL THEM!"She roared.Zane ran as fast as he could, not knowing the lioness had just climbed back up the tree, and ignored him.

He ran and ran, until he fell from exsaustion.He stumbled under a bush to rest.

Zasha woke up the next morning and counted her pups."SHADE!ZANE IS STILL NOT HOME!"SHe cried.Shade darted in."HE'S GONE?!? We'll HAVE to go look for him!"He cried, when Koola scratched Shade's leg."Daddy I'm hungrey!:She cried."You will have to stay here, I'll go look for him."She said as she left.

Zane woke up and started walking when he relized...He was lost.He ran around in circles."Okay...Okay....allright...be calm..water...gotta find water..."He said to himself.He tiptoed aroung the forest carfuly until he found a river.He lapped up his fill and caught a small fish, It wasn't very large, but it was enought to last him the day.Then, he walked off, deeper into the forest.

Not to long later, he started to get hungrey again.His stomach grumbled and was starting to hurt.He walked around until he stumbled arcoss a berry bush.He pressed down a branch and feasted apon the juciy red fruit.

He ate to his heart's disire, when a huge brown claw broke into the bush. Zane rolled over onto his back. ANother Claw Came in and parted the bush, then he saw it.

A HUGE Grizzly bear tore through the bush.He Roared when he noticed that most of the berries were gone.He tore the bush in half and came throught, then reared up on his back legs ready to swing.Zane covered his head, when a flur of black and white knocked over the bear."MOM?"Zane barked.But the bear threw her, and she slammed into a tree.

The bear turned to Zane again, when Zasha got back up, shuck her head, and ,lunged at the bear agian.Landing on it's back, she tore into it and lept off.She grapped Zane and ran away from the bear as fast as she could.

She stopped near a large tree, and place Zane down.He ran up, and snuggled against her."Oh Momma.....I thought I'd never see you again!"He cried."It's okay, did you get hurt?"She asked."No momma, you came right in time."Zane smiled."Okay, we'd better get goinng."Zasha smiled.They walked and walked, for hours, untill finaly...they came across a city."This isn't nome....I'm not even sure it's Alaska."Zasha said.They walked throught the town, until they came across a sign.It read...

                               Small city Zoo

                We have all kinds of animals here, ranging from wolves to pinguins, come one, come all, come young, come all.

Zasha started to smile."Wolves!Mabey they can help us!"She Barked.She carried Zane aroung the back of the zoo, until thy found a pin with the word "WOLVES" written on a sign infront of it.

"HELLO IN THERE?CAN ANBODY HELP US?"She called.She listend until she heard a call back."YES,COME AROUND HERE, GO THROUGHT THE HOLE IN THE FENCE."It called.

She did as he said and walked twards the front of the cage, when a figure came out of a man-made den.It was a large brown wolf.Zasha squinted her eyes at him.Suddnly..she saw his cleary.

"D-DAD!DAD!It'S ME! ZASHA!"Zasha cried and ran up to the old brown wolf.Tiers filled her eyes as she nuzzled the old brown wolf."Oh My God...I thought I'd never see you again!Is MOM Here too?"She asked."ashur!"HE yelled.A black and white wolf came out.

"Z-ZASHA! ZASHA IT'S YOU!Ashur screamed and nuzzled her long lost daughter."OHHh I thought you were dead!"She cried,"NO!MOM I HAVE A WONDERFUL MATE!I'VE HAD 3 LITTERS OF PUPS!"Ashur looked her daughter iver."My God...I can't belive it!I have grandpups!"She cheered!"

"Hey, Is DAkota and Ashur (the 2nd) here too?"She asked."No dear... they escaped this place long ago, but we stayed here."Why?"Zasha asked.She looked at Zasha thoughtfully."Zasha....You have another littewr of siblings!"She smiled.

Three 4-5 year old wolves walked out of the shelter."This is Amiyu,Glaceir,and Orion."Ashur smiled. Zasha nuzzled each one of them.

Zane walked into the crowd."WOW I HAVE GRANDPARETNTS AND AUNTS AND AND AN UNCLE!"He barcked.Everone laughed and talked for awhile, then Zasha spoke up."Mom,Dad,Amiyu,Clacier,Orion....Please....please, lease....come live with us!"Zasha cried.

Ashur and Nanook talked with each other for a while."Zasha.... The only reason we stayed here, when Dakota and Ashur (2nd) left, we only stayed because we had to care for your siblings...It's time for us to live this dag blasted zoo.....we'll come with you."They smiled.
