Traveling down the mountain, Shadow Preston is more than ready to do some damage. And the Autobots don't know just yet about what's in store for them...

"Shadow Preston! I want you to destroy that wolf dog transformer, and the Autobots. Do you understand what is at hand if you shall fail?" Reminded Megatron. "Don't bid me my lord, it shall be done." Answered Shadow Preston, as he ran to the town.

In the town, things were out of control. "Where's Preston?!" Asked a voice. "I don't know!" Shouted another voice. "This isn't good... Who knows what could happen with Megatron out there..." Thought Optimus, as he walked to the boiler room. Optimus?" Asked a voice. "Yes, Snarl?" Asked Optimus, not looking. "Do you think we'll find him?" Wimpered Snarl, thinking it was his fault for Preston's disappearance. "I'm not sure, but--." Before Optimus could finish, a long, deafening howl went through out the land... Then... BOOM! One of the buildings exploded, sending wood, metal, and other objects flying every where. "Where is Balto?!" The voice shouted in a dark, and scary voice. "Come on Snarl, let's go."

As they walked out, before them was a shadowy figure... "Preston?" Asked Optimus. The figure just held up a rocket laucher, and shot at Optimus. "Die Prime!" Optimus dodged every attack, then struck the figure's face, knocking his face plate off. "Well, you got me Optimus... I'm Preston... But in a new state!" Shadow Preston's armor glowed black, and he let out a surge of energy. "Aahhhh!" Shouted Snarl, as it hit him, but the pulse did something to him... His robot mode changed, he became his next stage... A Voyager transformer! "What's this?" Thought Snarl. "What?! It's impossible!" Shouted Shadow Preston. "Snarl! You are the chosen one! You are the next city commander of the future!" Called Optimus. (Just search city commander on youtube, or google to see what he looks like.) "Huh?" Thought Snarl. "I thought it was some one else." Coming toward him with a anti-nucleon blade, which can destroy anything near it except the shadowed transformers. "Die Snarl!" "Huh?" Thinking fast, Snarl took his rocket launcher, shot at Shadow Preston, which made him fly backward from the impacts of the rockets. "Ahh!" Cried Shadow Preston, as he felt his dark armor melting from the intense heat. Then... CRASH! He fell to the ground, the anti-nucleon blade disappeared, and Shadow Preston became normal Preston again. "How did I?" Asked Snarl. "The city commander of the future has special powers. He strips away dark powers, making them return normal. And you helped Preston come back to the light." Explained Optimus.

Rushing out of the boiler room, Kodi, and Dusty saw Preston on the ground. Still in robot form, with the same armor on him, but pure white. He now became Light Preston, but the blast had took his energy away. "What happened?" Asked Kodi, staring at Light Preston. "Well, I think you might want to sit down for this." Told Snarl, as he transformed to wolf mode, with a sled behind him.

About 1 hour later, Jenna, who had heard what happened went to Light Preston to check how he was doing. "Are you okay Preston? Asked Jenna, as she circled him, looking at his new form. "I'm alright ma'am... Just abit banged up." Replied Preston, as he changed to wolf form, keeping the sled away from him, after what had happened. Walking in, Optimus thought of what would come next. "I don't know how Megatron turned him dark. But I must find out how... If not I must use a risky move to defeat him for good." "Optimus?" "Yes Jenna?" "Please, make me into an Autobot. I just can't stand and wait to see what will happen next. I'm worried for my family." Pleaded Jenna. "Jenna, you have a warm heart, and you seem to have great care for others. For that I will make you into an Autobot." Replied Optimus. "Alright." Said Jenna as she waited for a spark to hit her and make her able to change her form. "Transformation spark... I summon you to make this flesh and blood creature one of our own..." Chanted Optimus, then he changed to robot mode, and the spark came out, hit Jenna, and made her start to change. "Jenna, right now you are in the scout ranking. And you are a medical assisst in battle." Told Optimus, as he put his hand on her arm, giving her the Autobot symbol.

Back at the Decepticons mountain base, Megatron heard of what happened, and became so annoyed to the point he started to go on a rampage. "How could this have happened?! It's unacceptable!" Megatron shouted, as he threw giant rocks at his minions. "Megatron, we don't know!" Replied a small Decepticon. "I've had it! I will bring him here! and make sure we destroy this pathetic planet!" Grining evilly, Megatron contacted a Decepticon fellow...

In the boiler room, everyone was thinking of two things... The attacks, and the race. "How will we race when the Decepticons keep attacking us?" Questioned a voice. "I don't want to be killed, or turned into a dark... Whatcha ma call it!" "It already happened to Preston. But he's turned back into a good wolf." Hearing in on the conversation, Optimus, and Ironhide just sat alone. "Optimus?" "Yes Ironhide?" "I don't know how, but we must get the Decepticons away from here. A and the race. We should have me, you, Wingsaber, and Snarl defend the race teams from them." Told Ironhide. "I will talk to the humans about this old friend. And they shall see if this is a good idea."

Later, Optimus talked with the humans, and he was answered with a yes. Then he went to the boiler room, and told everyone. "The race shall be continued, but me and my fellow Autobots will defend you. Two Autobots per team for each side." Watching him, a Decepticon went back to the mountain to tell the news.

"Master Megatron! I bring you news from the town!" Shouted the Decepticon. "And just what is you're news... Ransack?" Replied Megatron in a low growling voice. "The Autobots are defending the k-9 teams for their race, but they left the weakened autobots at the town." Cheered Ransack. "Well, that's rather... Fortunate..." "When is the race?" "It's tomorrow Master Megatron." Replied Ransack. "Good... Our friend will be here tomorrow... Ha ha ha..." Laughed Megatron, in his sinister dark voice.

Next day, the dogs had harnesses on them, and the Autobots had stood together in the town, next to the humans. Then, heading toward the mountain was six meteors, then struck. "Stay calm. Just a quake." Said Optimus. Nobody noticed the meteors. But the "one Decepticon" had brought five friends. "Teams! Get ready for the yearly dog race!" Called the announcer. And with that, the teams were ready. BANG! The gun shot echoed, the dogs ran, and the Autobots ran by their side.

In the distance, the six new arrivals had brought new scans theirselves. But not from that time period. But from, the year 2009! "Everyone alright?" Asked the leader. "Operational, sir!" Replied the other five. "Good... Protocall! Hightower!" "Longhaul!" "Scrapper!" "Mixmaster!" "Demolisher!" "Scavenger!" After they called their names, all together they said... "Form Devastator!" The six robots combined to form a distructive beast, then transformed to a Cybertronian wrecking vehicle, then trailed to the dogs, and Autobots...

Running alongside Balto, Optimus heard the call. "Balto, I have to go off this trail. The Decepticons are attacking!" Told Optimus. "Got it Optimus, but becareful. We don't need someone about to die." Replied Balto, then Optimus turned off track toward, Devastator.
