It was a bright sunny day, not much snow, very toasty and the perfect time for relaxation.
"Stash... Stash? I need a word with you!" Stash was woken by his fathers voice. Yawning, Stash slowly got up from the rock and walked towards his calling father.
"Stash.... I don't know how to put this... We have some bad news...." his father seemed sad and ashamed.
"Whats the problem father?" yawned Stash tiredly.
"I'm sorry.... I'm afraid you can't stay here anymore.." stash's face fell.
"What do you mean?" asked Stash feeling a little upset.
"Son... You are.... Your a wolfdog.." Stash's father looked down at his front paws unhappily.
"Whats a....Wolfdog?" asked Stash puzzled.
"Your... Your part wolf part dog... Sorry but you have to leave the pack," Stash's father's eyes began to water a little.
"WHAT? Father, I don't want to leave the pack! You can't throw me away I am your son! If you really cared for me, you would understand this." Stash was angry. Temper burst through his veins as he waited for his fathers response.
"Stash... The whole pack have agreed that something part dog can't be accepted into our pack... I am sorry, you can't stay here any longer. Go find a new home, keep warm and be careful." tears slowly rolled down his fathers cheeks. Then, his father slowly turned away.
"NO! YOU CAN'T TURN YOUR BACK ON ME LIKE THIS! FATHER?FATHER?"Stash called father over and over again. His father did not reply... Stash turned around, took one look back and dashed off in order to find a new home.

Stash walked and walked for days and days, but he could'nt find a new home. He was tired and weak. Suddenly, he heard a sound.. It was his belly growling with hunger.
"I've got to find some food!" whimpered Stash. He looked around, hoping to find something he could eat..... Nothing!
Stash carried on. After a few steps forwards, he collapsed. His body was weak and his energy was low. Stash groaned miserably. Never in his life had he been so hungry and weak. The worst thing yet, he was alone....

Stash forced his body up and proceeded onwards. He was about to give up, when all of a sudden, he spotted a small town. Stash walked a little closer. The smell of fresh sausages and grilled steak filled his nose. He was close to food.

Excitedly, Stash raced towards the town, following the lovely smell of food. Soon, he came across a butchers house. The butcher was cooking food for his meat shop. Stash tiptoed towards the door. Just then, he heard a bark. WOOF! WOOF! As quick as he could, Stash scampered behind a dustbin and spyed on the barking dog. He swallowed hard. There in front of him was a female dog, she was barking like mad as she scratched on the wooden door. Stash swallowed again. The female dog yapped happily as the butcher came at the door with some smokey sausages. The smell was scrummy! Stash looked up and down the dog, examining her. He had never seen such dog with natural beauty! The female began walking off. Stash followed her, being as quiet as possible. Paying no attention to the ground, Stash accidently kicked a pebble. It hit a door, making a quiet clanking sound. Stash looked back at the female, hoping she did'nt hear it. Just then, she stopped and turned around. Stash dashed behind another dustbin. He was unseen. Licking his lips, he stared at the smoky, sizzling hot sausages grasped between the females teeth. Stash could'nt resist the smell. The female turned around and continued walking down the path. Soon, she entered an alley. A hungry dog pounced out of nowhere and blocked her path. It snarled angrily at her. Stash stared at the sausages. His stomache felt sick as he stared. The alley dog sprinted, ready to attack the female. Stash growled and lept towards the alley dog, teeth at the ready. Still growling and snarling, the two dogs fought like wild tigers. The female ran and hid behind the dustbin Stash had been hiding before. Both dogs rolled around in the snow. Stash bit down hard on the alley dogs leg, making it whine with pain.
"Get out off here!" snapped Stash angrily. The alley dog whimpered with fear as it limped accross the alley. Stash turned around and remembered the sausages. The female dog walked towards him, making him nervous.
"Hi, are you new in town?" asked the female husky.
"I..." Stash was too nervous to say anything. He had never talked to a female before, apart from his mother of corse.
"Whats your name?" the female asked.
Stash remained silent. The female smiled warmly.
"Ok... Anyways, thanks for saving me," she dropped the sausages.
"You hungry?" she asked generously. Stash nodded shyly.
"Theres no need to be shy!" the female laughed.
"Er..." Stash just stood still, gazing at her.
"My names Marina. If your hungry, feel free to some sausages!" the female siad joyfully. Stash managed a shy smile and he began to eat a few.
"Why you here anyway? You lost?" Marina asked.
"Um.... M.. My nam-names Stash..." Stash was very nervous now.
"Stash.... Are you alone?" asked Marina, she stared at him fondly. Stash noticed this and looked up into her eyes. He managed to get a bit of courage.
"I travelled here in search of a new home..." Stash began. He kept staring into her eyes. Marina grinned a friendly smile.
"Your eyes sparkle..." Stash said in a loving voice. Marina giggled.
"Thanks!" Marina said. 'Hes so romantic!' she thought....

After many months of a great friendship, the two dogs decided to be mates. Stash protected Marina whenever she was in danger, and they lived very happily together! Stash settled into Nome (the small town) and everybody was happy. The butcher fed them both spaghetti bolognese and sang them a romantic song(yes, the butcher has been watching too much lady and the tramp). Soon, the couple have puppies and name them Deroki and Sketanni(their puppies names are unusual ar'nt they?).
