Toby Outtakes

 

So now, another Toby series finishes - And another load of mistakes made by the crew! Here we go, Toby Outtake's!

 

Episode 1 - Hero's Worship:

"

She looked into the box and noticed something was wrong.  Four puppies had been taken, but five were gone.  Then she saw why.  A hole had been scratched in the side of the box just big enough for a pup to squeeze out.  She didn’t have to check to guess who it was.  ‘Toby,’ she thought with an exasperated sigh.  “Rex, would you watch them for a minute?  I’ll be right back.”

“What’s wrong?” asked Rex.

“It seems our little Houdini has disappeared.  Again.”

"Our own Houdini?" Asked Rex. "I never knew we gave birth to a future television star?"

"Rex! It's a figure of speech! CUT" "

Later that night, Terry got up.  She went over to the police chief’s house and slipped through the dog door.  She walked through the house, looking for Rex.  “What kept you?” came a playful voice from behind her.

She spun around.  “Rex!” she breathed.  “You scared me.”

"Thats what I susposed to do" He replied "I mean... Sorry"

"Rex did you even read the script?" She asked. "I cant read, I can only smell... And  cant smell ink"

"Your not just a dog, your an Iams dog" The Director groaned at Rex. "

“I escaped.  I decided I wanna grow up just like Balto.”

“Heh,” sneered Pete.  “That old half-breed?  Why don’t you start by sticking your head in a garbage can?”

“’Cause then I’d have to room with you,” answered Toby.

"Are you sure that Comment is needed... I thought Toby was nice?" Pete asked the Director.

"PETE! Stick with the script!" He yelled.

Pete turned to the actor who was the shopkeeper of the General store "How much dose it cost  for abit of Glue so I can stick to the script?" He asked.

Toby Sighed "Oh Brother" he grumbled.

"Yes?" Pete answered in a kind voise turning into a grin.

"

Later while he was playing in the lot, Toby heard a sound on the other side of the boxes.  It sounded like a cat, but he imagined that it was Steele, Balto’s arch-enemy.  He crept up to the corner and listened, not wanting to give away his location by sticking his nose into view.  Then he shot around the corner, barreling straight toward his prey.  But instead of catching it and knocking it to the ground, he and it smacked heads.

"Uhh Medic?" Toby said looking down at Luna's actress doing a Drogba scream on the floor.

At once the other dogs started in on the pile, pulling away the boxes.  Soon they had uncovered Luna, and Toby’s stomach tied itself in a knot.  She looked even worse than before.  Her back legs were caught under a heavy crate.  “Ouch,” commented one of the dogs.  “That can’t be very comfortable".

Luna looked at the dog "No, it's so perfectly confortable I feel i'm at a first class stay on the Independance of the Sea's" She said.

               Luna’s tail crept between her legs.  “Where did you hear a story like that?” she asked.

               The malamute shrugged.  “Things… get around.”  He smiled. "Like that story when they said the Director knew what he was doing... But that was later proven to be a false story..."

"CUT! Steele, keep on Topic!" He yelled.

"I am" He replied. "We're talking about story's!"

“Put me down, you big jerk!” yipped Luna.  “Let me go or I’ll bite you!"

"Are you calling me fat?" Replied Steele.

"Yes... I mean No! I mean what ever answer keeps me alive!"

Toby ran off in confusion.  ‘This can’t be real, this can’t be real, THIS CAN’T BE REAL!’ he thought over and over again.

"It's not real Toby you idiot! it's a story!" The Director yelled.

"Oh yeah... Forgot about that" He replied with his tail between his legs, with his face going bright red.

"

“What’s the matter with you?” she asked Toby one day.

“What?” asked Toby.

“You were looking at me weird,” she said.  “And you were showing your teeth.”

“Oh.”  Toby stared very quickly at the ground.

“Toby, what’s eating you?”

"Flease? What s it disturbing?"

Toby Part Two - Steele's return:

"

The dog opened an eye that was nearly swollen shut.  “Ouch,” was all he said.

“What happened?”

The stray rose shakily to his feet.  “I got beat up.  What’s it look like?”

"I dunno" He shrugged.

"Well don't just stand there! Call for Assistance!" He yelled painfully.

"Sorry mate, I only get payed to pretend I care, but it dosen't say in my contract  I have to help other people even if there dying, Bye!". And with that, he walked away to chat to one of the camera men.

`Jobs worth! Flippin Job's worth!` He thought.

Pete screeched to a stop next to Copper and looked over his shoulder at Toby and Luna.  “Okay, everybody off.”  He glared at Toby.  “And you’d better not have given me any fleas.”

"Oops, sorry Pete" Toby replied jumping off his back with his tail between his legs. "It's not my fault! Blaim my stylist"

“Hey, you okay?” asked a dog in the cage next to her old enough to be her father.

Taya scoffed.  “Do I look okay?” she asked.

"Well... Exept for your split ends you look fine" He replied.

"Ohh Brother..." She muttered.

She turned her head to point back the way Taya had come.  “You must go back.  You are needed.”

“Are you crazy?  I’m not going back there!”

“Copper is in danger, along with your daughter and Toby.  They need your help.”

"I've told them before! I don't speak a word of Spanish! So I cant help them with there Homework!"

Copper’s eyes flew open.  “Taya?” he asked as his ears shot up.  Seeing her, he jumped to his feet so fast that his head crashed against the top of the cage.  Despite the pain, he wagged his tail.  “Boy, am I glad to see you.”

"I'm a girl Copper!" She groaned. "We've been mates for long enough for you to of hopefully noticed that!"

After a considerable amount of effort, she managed to pry the nails out of two of the hinges.  The last hinge was too rusty to work with, but Copper was able to smash the door open.  Working quickly, they then freed Toby, Luna and Blaze.  “Now come on,” said Taya, heading outside.  “Let’s get out of here.”

 The others followed, but Toby stopped as they headed outside.  He could still hear the dogs barking inside.  “No,” he said.  “We’ve got to save the others. Thats the wrong actor!”

"Ohh my..." The Assistant director said. "I told him to only let people who have much importance on the set to be here, and now we've got actors confused, Stupid Human."

"Um... Sir, your a human yourself." Toby replied.

Taya’s eyes narrowed.  “Get him,” she commanded.

"Get him what? he hasn't said what he wants for Christmas yet!" Copper replied. "So how should we know?"

She shook her head.  “I should probably have my head examined for this, but okay.”  Before Toby could cheer, she added quickly, “But if something goes wrong, you get out of there pronto.”

“Relax, mom,” said Toby.  “What could go wrong?”

"Um... There might be a power cut... And then you'll do something wrong and get fired, then you'll be a failer like Luna's Grandad"

Steele stood up.  “Yes.  I think it’s time to finish my business with that half-breed once and for all.”

"How much does he owe you?" One of the street Dogs asked.

"I dunno, about £300,000" He replied.

"In Doggy money!" He demanded.

"FINE! 300 billion bones + 3 Meaty sticks!"

Taya stepped out from her hiding place.  “Sorry, dad.  Balto had to be away on other business.
