"No, well they used to be untill the year of 1925, a little after your Dad's famous run when their leader who hated the Deathlocks gave up her land and moved to Brooklyn where we were, and became one of us. *clear throat* Soon after our leader Jereimah Malinn became mates with her" Medic said with a humerous voice at the last sentence.

"Wait your leader fell for what used to be your enemy" Kodi chuckled.

"Yeah, shocking I know... but I can't lie, she was hot" Medic said like he was a teenager seeing a super model in a magaizine. Both Kodi and Dusty chuckeled.

"So what was the Family's name?" Dusty asked.

"Oh whoops, I forgot that, they were the Pirate Family, they used to be an enemy and now their leader is our Fisrt Lady. They were the German Family I was talking about in the begginning"

"So were you and Sarge like partners or something?" Dusty asked.

"Yeah, we worked with 4 other guys, we we called Charlie 7 Alpha, or just Charlie 7. WHen Liuetenant was a good guy him and his partners were Bravo 22 Delta." Sarge said.

"So what's with the code names and who were your partners?" Dusty asked again.

"Well the code names were to keep track on all the teams we had with the Enforcers and our allies. Our partner.... our team's leader, Lewis Barkin, Lewie is what we called him, he got promoted a few months ago after the Enforcers spread to the city of New Orelands, and he is now running the Enforcers there... last I heard his mate is now pregnant, and plans to name one of his kids Charlie, after our team's name. Then theres the Rentis twins Bardiana and Beniamitto, we called them Big B and Lil' B for short, those two were in constant arguement. then there's our loud mouth, Trindad De' Fanastaz, we called him Tido for short."

"So who is running Charlie 7 now that Lewis and you two are gone?" Kodi asked

"Well Tido has to because I don't think having a twin in charge while his brother in the same team would work out to well" Medic said.

"Well I think it is time for us to get to work on my brother before he strikes back agian" Sarge said getting up and leaving the boiler room.

"Yeah... Liuetenant is too stuborn to let something go" Medic agreeing.

"Medic wait... is their more to those New York Family stories?" Dusty asked before Medic and Sarge went out the door.

"Dusty.... I havn't even told you a percent of it yet" Medic said as he walked out.

"D-Dusty, you really like those stories don't you?" Kodi asked her.

"Well yeah... I thought that was kind of cool, ya know"

"Come' on Dusty,I'll take you back to the Post Office" Kodi offered.

 "So boss, when are we going to take out those love bird" Commado asked ready for anything, almost as ready as Jailbird.

"Yeah... can we still have, ya know some fun with the girl" Jailbird asked.

"No... we are kiling them for buessness, not pleasure" Lieutenant sais looking at the mid day sun from the entrance to their cave.

"Aww com' on..."

"NO, we have a job to do, and we are not going to sexualy assult ANYONE... they are going to die fast so we can get this over with" Liuetenant yelled.

"The Deathlocks will be here in 2 weeks, and I don't want to procrastinate" Leiutenant yelled again.

"OK gees" Jailbird said to back off.

"So when are we attacking them?" Captian asked.

"At sunset... we'll lure them to the shore and take' em out there" Liuetenant ordered.

Chapter 9: First Strike

6: 57 PM

Medic and Sarge have been at finding Liuetenant and his thugs, or in the real case, finding Bravo 22 Delta. Kodi is pretty uch done for the day. Dusty just woke up from a nap an hour ago. But Lieutenant and his partners ar ready to take out Kodi and Dusty... but how? Liuetenant had spoke to Vadu to lure Kodi and Dusty to the shore, you'll see how.

"So Vadu, your sure you can make a mind trick on those two" ased Commado.

"Yes, one at a time, but I'll have them both at that beach at the same time." said te black wolf and he dissapeired agian.

Kodi was with Ralph, Kirby, Marine, and Totin taling about some random things, at first it was more gossip, then it was jokes, and now about girls.

"OK, who would you rather go out with, Dixie or Fawn?" asked Marine

"Well Dixie is too short for me, so I'll say Fawn" Ralph said

"One mistake with Dixie and the world knows so Fawn" Totin said.

"I was going to say Dixie but your right Totin, Fawn" Kirby said.

"Fawn... Dixie is what, like as old as my mom" Kodi said

"True" they all said.

Kirby wanted to say one now. "OK... if you had to choose between Jenna, or Gena to go out with"

"Gena, Balto will rip out my guts if I go with Jenna" Marine said.

"Gena" Raplh and Totin said at the same time.

"Well I'll go for Gena too....... or else I'll be dating my mom, that WILL be awkward" Kodi said.

"Kodi your turn" Ralph said.

"Umm if you......" Kodi stopped short.

Kodi's eyes made a single, short flash of blood red.

"I- I have to go" Kodi said and got up.

"Where are you going?" Kirby asked.

I don't know......... Oh, choose between Sylvie and Blizzard" Kodi said as he walked out the door of the boiler room where they were hanging out.

Dusty was with Dixie and Sylvie doing the same thing as Kodi was with the two girls, but they were talkig about guys.

"I can't believe that Jacklinn is still single" Dixie said.

"How about that Kirby... he has been single for what... like forever" Sylvie said with that teenager girl voice.

"I know I would' ve expected Jacklinn to have someone by now" Dusty cut in.

"Job's open Dusty... wanna volenteer" Sylvie joked

"No thanks... Jacklinn isn't really my type" Dusty said with that dream she had still in her head.

"Hey Dusty... have you thought about going with Kodi... you two have been friends since you were a pup, and now your on the same team as him, behind him to be exact, he saved your life last night, AND he is the one who Medic had told to take of you" Dixie said.

"Wait what!?" Dusty asked suprised.

"Have you thought about...."

"No... the last thing" Dusty said.

"Kodi is the one Medic had asked to watch over you until you get better?"

"Yeah that.... is he really?"

"Yeah Medic told me.... and obveously the town knows"

Just then Dusty's eye's made a short flash of red.

"I have to go... I'll see you tomorrow" Dusty sai as she walked off towrads the beach.

"OK then......... that was weird" Sylvie said.

Kodi and Dusty was both now on the way to the shore, Vadu had set a mind trick on them and they are going to the rocky shores to he east of Nome.

"Dusty?" Kodi asked seeing her limoing her way to the same pace Kodi is, where ever this place is.

"K-Kodi, hi, umm what are you doing here?" she asked.

"I was going to ask the same thing as you, but I don't know where I'm going"

"Same here"

"Well I can't leave you here... let's go where fate takes us then" Kodi said to her.

'fate' Dusty's mind said fantly.

"Wait until we have them cornered" Captain said behind all 3 of his partners.

Kodi and Dustyfollowed where Vadu's mind trick took them, they went to the end of rock out in the water, but they haddend relized the tide is coming fast.

"Well this is weird, why are we out here?" Kodi asked

"I don't know but let's leave the tides coming in" Dusty noted.

"Good idea let's go...."

Kodi and Dusty saw in front of them Commando, just like Dusy's first attack.

"Ello' Puppet" he said in a bad impression of a british guy.

"What!?" Captain came up from behind him.

"I always wanted to say that" Commado told Captain who is next to him.

"GUYS!!!" Jailbird yelled who is running up to the other two.

"Can I help you?" Kodi asked

"Your blood" Jail bird ordered.

"Look if this is your terf, we' re sorry we 're in it" Kodi said thinking they were wolves.

"Kodi... that's Liuetenant, look behind them... the scar" Dusty whispered.

Kodi saw him and immedatly stepped in front of Dusty and said agressivly "You want her, you have to go through me....... Deathlocks"

"Kodi, there after me not you, I don't want you hurt to" Dusty said worryed.

Kodi ignored her and focused on Dusty's attackers.

"I told you he'd say that... you owe me $5 Jailbird" Commado said to Jailbird.

Jailbird punched him on top of the head just like Kaltag did to Star in Balto 1.

"OK... you don't owe me anything" Commado said on the ground.

"WILL YOU ATTACK THEM ALREADY!!!!!!" Liuetenant yelled on the rather large rock over looking the soon to be fight,

"With pleasure"Jailbird yelled and attacked Kodi who was protecting Dusty.
