Life For Dogs

Chapter 1.....

One night, Rachel was sleeping in her dog bed, nice and cozy in her owners room. Her owner was a great to know person, never would let her dog EVER down. But Rachel wasn't the only dog in the family, she had a little puppy sister too! Her name was Kate.

Now, the clock struck midnight, and a strong storm came. Kate woke up scared but her owner would let her sleep in bed with her this one time. But that didn't help much. The owner, Jamie,  tried to com the little baby pup, that only helped a little, now it was 2.00 A.M. Kylie was asleep. So was sweet little Kate. Everybody in the house was now... asleep.

"Woof, Ruff, BARK!" Rachel barked. She also woke up Jamie. "Oh boy, time to pick up Kylie from her friends house now! You wanna come? You wanna come? Huh!? Huh!?" Jamie said trying to get the dog exited. Kate and Rachel started tumbling all over her, licking her face. "Alright! I guess you want to go then huh?!" Jamie said.

"Here's you're dog food guys! I mean, GIRLS!" Jamie said pouring out the dog food out of the bag. "Now its time for me to eat." Jamie thought. She poured herself a cup of coffee. "I guess I'll eat when I get back." Jamie said to herself. Jamie got in the car with the dogs in the back seat, and drove off to Kylie at her friends house.

Jamie knocked on the door. The door opened and there was Kylie and her friend, Jessica! "Mom! I don't want to go know now! Why does time have to go so fast?!" Kylie screamed. "Look, Kylie, don't you want to go home and see Rachel and Kate? They really miss you!" said Jamie. "I don't care if they miss me mom, dogs don't really matter to me anymore, I like T-REXES!!" Kylie yelled. "Well we are definitely NOT getting a T-Rex or anything bigger than me. And you are going to come home now! Everybody misses you!" Jamie said getting more and more angry. "Mom you aren't the boss of me! I want to stay here NOW!And anyway, dad isn't even home now. Why does he have to be in Japan!!!????!!!!" Kylie said furiously! "Because you're father cares about us, and wants you to be happy. That's all he ever tries to do. If he looses his job, than we won't be able to keep our house. Do you understand? Come home with me, please. The dogs are waiting in the car." Jamie said normally. "Uh. I hate my life!!!!! I'll go, but it DOSENT MEAN I'LL BE HAPPY!!!!" Kylie yelled.

"See? How bad is this? Don't you love being relaxed at you're house?" Jamie said. "No mom, I don't. I am 8 years old now, I'm not little." Kylie said with tears in her eyes. "You are really tired aren't you?" Jamie said in a soft voice. "Yeah I am." Kylie replied.

Chapter 2......

"Hey, Rachel?" Kate said to Rachel. "What?" Rachel replied. "Can't we become strays? Or something cool like that?" Kate said bouncing up and down. "Oh, no. We aren't going to be strays because this life is better. "Aww. I thought that would be cooler." Kate said.

"Kate, Come on, we are going to go visit Roxi for the weekend." Rachel told Kate. "Yay! Roxi's so fun!!!" Kate said happily. "Yeah well, thats what our owner said." Rachel explained.

Knock Knock! Jamie knocked on Roxi's owner's door. Then, it opened. "Oh hello there!" Roxi's owner said. "Hi, I brought the dogs over for the play date we planed for them." Jamie said. "Oh yes! Now I remember! I almost forgot! Common in!" Roxi's owner said in a kind voice.

"Hey Roxi. How are you?" Rachel said to Roxi. "Oh I'm doing fine! I'm so happy you could come over! There is alot I need to tell you! But where is Kate?" Roxi told Rachel. "Oh she's just behind me. Common Kate! Say hi to Roxi!" Rachel told Kate. "Omg! Hi Roxi!!!! Do you still have that chewing toy?" Kate asked Roxi. "Ha ha, yeah, I still have it. You wanna have it? Because I'd be glad to give it to you!" Roxi replied to Kate. "Oh! Oh! That would be AWSOME! You would really give it to ME?" Kate say with joy. "Of course I would! Here you go! Take good care of this!" Roxi said with a smile on her face. "Gee, thanks!! I always wanted this, AND NOW I HAVE IT!!!!" Kate said so joyfully. "Aww, that was really nice of you Roxi, you're a great friend!" Rachel said to Roxi joyfully. "Well, thats the least I could do since you saved my father from falling off that cliff!" Roxi told Rachel. "This is why I love coming over here! Last time I came I got a big juicy bone!!" Kate whispered to Rachel. "Is that the only reason why you wanted to come over here?" Rachel said joking. "Nope, I came here to play in the BIG yard they have!" Kate said just kidding.

"Are you guys ready to go and play outside, and with the water sprinkler?!" Roxi yelled. "WATER SPRINKELER??!!" Rachel and Kate screamed! "Yep, water sprinkler!" Roxi said. "Well, then, LAST ONE TO THE YARD IS A ROTTEN EGG!!!!!

First place, Rachel, Second place, Kate, Third place, Roxi.

"He he! Roxi, it looks like you got in third place!" Kate said only kidding. "Yeah, well, now, lets go on a hike up the mountains, but only for 1 hour. Okay?" Roxi said to Kate and Rachel.

"OMG!! This is soo beautiful!!!! I want to live up in the mountains like Roxi does!!" Kate said to Rachel. "Yeah, well you're going to have to talk to Jamie about that one." Rachel replied. "But I can't talk like a human!! Why can't I!??" Kate complained. "Well, there's just some things in life that you just can't find out. That's just one of them though." Rachel said trying to act smart.

"Common! I want to go see fish, and bears, and foxes!!!!" Kate said. "I hope we don't run into bears though!" Roxi said.
