Part 6

Kodi and Killy where walking around in Central Park when it started raining."Oh crap." Kodi looked at Killy what now we don't even know where to start?"

Killy shrugged,they both quickly ran under a bridge."Maybe we should find your parents."

"Yeah but where do you think they are?"

Killy sighed,"We should stay here until it stops raining."

"UUUmm... OK."

"Well what are we going to do as we wait."

"I don't know."

Killy smiled and looked at Kodi."Um..."

"Killy we have to find them the rain dosn't matter." Kodi walked into the rain.

Balto and Jenna walked down the street,"Where are we going to go?"

"Well..... I have no idea where to look for them."

Balto looked around,"I think I see Kodi and Killy."

"KODI COME HERE!"Jenna shouted

Kodi turned, "MOM DAD!" ,Kodi ran to Balto and Jenna, "Where have you been?", Kodi looked at Aleu," At least you found her."

Balto nodded,"Jenna do you happen to know where Rosy is?"

"Yeah!" Jenna began to walk.

"Ok lets go."Balto looked over at Jenna,"Lead the way."

"Ok." Jenna walked in front, Jenna suddenly got a look of pain on her face and held in a scream.

Balto walked over to Jenna,"Jenna are you ok?"

"Yes... yes I'm ok Balto.",a few tears ran down her face."I'm really ok Balto." Jenna rubbed against Balto.

Balto looked Jenna in the eyes,"Jenna your not ok,whats wrong?"

"Balto it hurts." Jenna continued to cry.

"Jenna get on my back I need to get you some where you can rest."

"But Aleu's on your back." Jenna sudenly fell down."AAHH Balto it hurts so much."

"I don't care that Aleu is on my back I can hold both of you."

Jenna looked up, "Ok Balto."

Kodi walked over, "Mom are you ok?"

Jenna looked at Kodi, "No Kodi"

Jenna climbed onto Balto's back."Balto I'll tell you where to go."

Balto nodded,"Ok,Kodi Killy come on."

After about an hour they finally got to a building that Jenna said Rosy was staying in."This building is so big how are we going to find her?"Balto scanned the windows.

"I don't know." Jenna said feeling much better now.

Killy looked at the doors,"How are we going to get in?"

Kodi looked at Killy and shrugged.

Balto looked back at the doors and saw Rosy walking out."Jenna it's Rosy!"

Jenna got off of Balto and limped to Rosy and barked.

Rosy looked over at Jenna,"Jenna?"

Balto walked over,Rosy looked over at Balto,"Balto?"

"How did you guys get here?"Rosy looked at Aleu,"Oh no!Let's go in and get something to help her."

They all walked to the elevator.Balto looked around the small room,"This is her room, why is it so small?"

The elevator began to go up,Balto kinda jumped,"What in the world?"

"Woah Dad this is strange feeling." Kodi's ears went down.

The doors opened,Rosy looked down at them,"Come on."

Rosy walked down the hall and unlocked a door,"I'm back!"

"Rosy your back qui...AH! why do you have dogs?"

"Claire they are my friends from Nome,well I don't know who the black wolf is but he is a friend of theirs so he's my friend."

Rosy closed the door,"Don't worry I am going back to Nome in two days."

Balto walked over to the sofa and put Aleu down.Rosy walked over and picked Aleu up.Rosy brought the first aid kit and Aleu over to the restroom.Rosy put Aleu down and opened the first aid kit.After a while Aleu was all fixed up."Well now she should get some sleep."

Balto walked over to Jenna,"So are you feeling better?"

Jenna nodded.Kodi walked over, "So is Aleu ok."

Balto looked at Kodi and nodded."Well i'm tierd so good night."

"I'll come with you.", Jenna followed Balto.

Kodi started to walk in the kitchen, "I'll sleep in here."

Killy walked over to Kodi,"I'll sleep in here too."

Balto fell asleep and started to have a nightmare.Balto was on cold floor,Balto looked up,red rain fell on Balto's nose,"Blood?"

It began to rain hard.Blood fell down Balto's body."What's happening?"

The blood started to fill the room,"Oh no!"

After awhile the blood filled the room.Balto could not hold his breath any longer.

Balto woke up gasping for air."Dad are you ok?" Aleu was sitting next to Balto.

Balto looked around,"I'm ok,just a bad dream."

"Dad thanks for saving me."

Balto nodded,"I love you."Balto laid his head down.

"Ok.", Aleu limped off.

Jenna turned to Balto, "You had a nightmare?"

"Yeah but i'm ok,I love you Jenna."

"I love you too.",Jenna snuggled up to Balto.

When the sun came up Balto woke up.Balto looked over at Jenna,"Jenna it's time to get up."

Jenna got up,"Thanks Balto.",Jenna licked Balto's face.

Balto licked Jenna's face then got up.Balto walked out to the kitchen,"Kodi wake up."

"Morning Dad how did you sleep."Kodi yawned and streched.

"I...slept fine.How about you?"

"I slept... ok."

Balto stopped,"You slept ok,why ok."

"I had a nightmare."

"Was it bad?"

"Yeah.",Kodi looked down.

"What happened in the nightmare?"

"Nothing Dad I don't want to talk about it."

"Are you sure?"Balto sat next to Kodi.

"I really don't want to talk about it."

Balto sighed,"Ok."Balto began to walk away.

"Dad I don't want you and Mom to die."

Balto stopped,"Kodi everyone dies."

"I don't want you two to die though Dad.......I love you to much."

"Kodi I love you too."

Balto looked back at Kodi and smiled.Balto walked over to the sofa and sat down.Balto looked at Kodi,Balto's face was filled with pain,Balto fell off the sofa.

"DAD!... MOM COME HERE!"

Jenna and Aleu ran to Kodi, "BALTO,  oh my God.", Jenna licked Balto's face, "come on wake up."

Aleu ran to Rosy and started barking.Rosy got up,"What is it?"

Rosy walked out into the room."Oh my God!Claire call 911!"

"Ok."

A few minutes later an ambulance arrived.The men ran in and looked at Balto."Quickly we have to get him to the vet!"

Two hours later at the vet,the doctor walked out of the operation room."He's fine now but he might be a bit tired."

Rosy nodded,"Ok."

The doctor opened the door and brought Balto out,"Here you go."The doctor handed Balto to Rosy.

Balto woke up and notice Rosy packing stuff into boxes.Balto lifted his head,"Jenna,Kodi,Aleu?"

"Balto I'm so glad you're ok.", Jenna licked his face.Aleu walked over to them,"Hi Dad we're leaving today.", Aleu smiled.

Balto smiled,"I love all of you."Balto closed his eyes.

"I love you Balto."

Later Balto woke up and he was on an airplane,"Jenna?"

"Balto we're almost home."

"Good.Jenna I love you."

"I love you too Balto.",Jenna rested her head on Balto.

Balto slowly fell asleep.Balto woke up again but in Nome on the boat this time.Balto got up,"Jenna?"

"Balto Rosy brought you back here."Jenna rubbed against Balto.

"Ok,I'm glad we're home."Balto rubbed against Jenna.

"Balto I love you."

"I love you too,are Aleu and Kodi ok?"

"Yeah"

Balto nodded,"Let's go out onto the beach."

"Ok"

Balto and Jenna walked down to the beach.Balto smiled as he looked out at the ocean."Jenna it's so..."

Balto fell to the ground."BALTO! no...." Jenna began to cry, "KODI! ALEU!" Jenna ran to Rosy's house and barked as loud as she could.

Rosy ran out of her house and followed Jenna down to the beach."Oh God."

Rosy looked back at Nome,"HELP!!!"

Some people heard Rosy's shout.All the people who heard her came out to see what was happening.Rosy picked Balto up and ran to the hospital.

An hour later the doctor came out,"Um Rosy may you come over here."

Rosy walked over,"Yes what is it."

"I dont know how to tell you this but,Balto only has a few more days to live,he's going...to die."

Rosy began to cry.The doctor put his hand on Rosy's shoulder,"I'm sorry."

Balto later began to have a nightmare.Balto got up and was in a dark room.Balto felt his heart freeze and blood gushed froom his eyes and mouth.Balto fell to the ground as a dark figure stood over him.Balto could only see red,but then felt a blade stab him in the back.Balto's cold body fell to the floor.Balto woke up in fear,"Jenna!"

Balto did not see Jenna,Balto ran out of his room,"JENNA ALEU KODI!!!"

Balto lost feeling in his legs and could not stand.Balto fell to the wooden floor.Balto began to cry,"Jenna Alue Kodi,where did you go?"

Jenna came up,"Balto why did you run out of our room so fast?...Are you ok Balto?",Jenna went down to him rubbed against him,"Balto?"

Balto looked up at Jenna,"Where did you,Aleu, and Kodi go?"

"What do you mean Balto we've been here the whole time."

Balto attemted to smile,then looked like he was in pain,"I'm freezing."

"Oh Balto no.",Jenna began to cry.

"May you please get Aleu and Kodi."

"Yes",Jenna stood up and went to get them.A few minutes later she came back.

"Dad!",Aleu and Kodi rushed to Balto."Dad are you ok?",Kodi started to cry.

"Dad!",Aleu snuggeled up to Balto.

Jenna went back to lay near Balto.

Balto got closer to all of them.

The next day,March 14, 1933.Balto looked at Jenna,"I Love you Jenna.I love you Aleu.I Love you Kodi."

"Balto please stay with me."Jenna was crying becuse she knew what was happening.

Balto smiled,"I don't want to leave."

"I'll alway love you Balto."

Balto nodded then his eyes became blank and lifeless.Balto's body became cold.

"Balto?",Jenna licked his face,"Balto,Balto.........",Jenna started to cry more,"NO!".

Kodi's ears shot up and saw Jenna screaming and crying,"Mom is he...",Jenna contined to cry,"No....Dad?",Kodi ran to his room.

"Dad...no...no.",Aleu started to cry with Jenna.

 

 

Balto died March 14,1933, he left are world and went to heaven.A week later Jenna past on too.Aleu and Kodi continued living there lives.This is the last part of 

Balto Last Days of a Hero.
