A white wolf with black tipped ears looked out onto the horizon. What was she looking at you ask? She was looking at her four beautiful young and healthy pups. They were getting stronger everyday and creating their own personalities. Their father was always busy, since he was a husky and only came on wekends when he wasn't busy.  They were all wolf dogs, so the mother named Aniu didn't now if they'll be huskies, wolves or outcasts. 
          Palo was a wolf in shape and action. He acts like the leader of his litter mates and new he would be the next Aplha after her. He was also keeping tract of all his pack mates already! Belle was also a wolf, but a kind one. She always helps animals in need. Belle can be stubburn at times, but other wise just like her mother. Penny, she was a husky. She hated hunting and dirty stuff, typical sissy "pure bred". Penny always stayed away from the others, she sometimes plays with her brother, balto. Balto, no one knew if he would become a wolf or a dog, he had spirit like a wolf, but interests in mushing. Balto was a bright one, thought things through, and did the right thing even when he new he wasn't asked to do it.
  Aniu loved watching her pups play, but it was hard for her since she was also leader of the Awkahana pack. She went to her pups and starting playing with her puppies, she wanted to help them to be as good as possible.
 "Alpha!" howled Blaskiz, a black and cream wolf.
 "Yes?" asked Aniu.
 " Kade just came in to tell us that hunters found out that we are here and they plan to hunt us! We have to leave NOW!"  panicked Blaskiz.
 "Calm down," said Aniu as calm as she can be, " Get the gaurds to gather up the elders and pups. Lead them to the White Mountain."
 "Yes, Alpha, but what about you?" asked Blaskiz.
 "You take Palo and Belle with you, I am going to take Penny to her father, Balto will tag along," explained Aniu calling to her pups.
 "Very well, Palo, Belle, come with me," said Blaskiz picking up Belle.  "What about Mommy?" asked Belle.  "I'll be right back sweet hearts. Listen to Blaskiz until I get back," said Aniu picking up Penny and Balto on her back running towards the town called Buckland. 
 "Mom, when are we going to stop? I'm hungry!" whined Penny.  "Shh darling, we're almost there," whispered Aniu.  "Hey! I think I see something, James, over there!"  "Yeah, yeah, I see it too, it's a white wolf with some pups!"  "Come on," whispered a voice in the bush.  Aniu followed the sound into the  bush and saw he mate, Kade.  "I thought I went over there to save your butt, not to risk your life and the pups!" growled Kade in a calm voice.  "I know you did, but I had to bring you Balto and Penny, they're not ment for wolves, well Balto might," sighed Aniu.  "Ok i'll take them, but  you have to leave know, or my owners will find you!" whined Kade picking up his pups.  "Bye," said Aniu running off.
 Aniu ran until she couldn't run anymore. She new wolves could run for hours without getting tired, but she had just gave up two of her pups to live with people and their father. She started to walk since she new she had two more pups waiting for her at White Mountain.   Snap!  Aniu pricked up her ears a smelled humans. Her eyes got big and she started to run towards the water. She had learned from stories about her father and grandfather always went into towns and got away from swimming away. She ran and ran and was only two feet away from the water when she heard a big crash and before she knew it she was hanging up side down.  "Hey James! Looks like we caught ourselves some more money," laughed a human.  "We should breed her with Chacio first, they'll make fine pups, and they will sell for a lot of money,too," said a older human.
Six months later Aniu watched her month old pup bounce around and play. Her pups name was Anima. Aniu loved the name because the name ment, courage, spirit, fun, and angry, all the things Aniu was right know since leaving her life in the forest. She watched the man known as Tom take out Anima and walked out of the room. Aniu tried to bite the man, but knew that it was hopless. She knew that this day would come, she just hoped she had more time.       "Sorry Aniu, I wish I could stop this," sighed Chacio, her new friend. James came in with sharp needle that Aniu saw used on many other wolves that had come in her. She sighed and looked up at him with sarrowful eyes.   "I have a little shot for you to take, it won't hurt a bit," smiled James.  Aniu felt little pain at first, but it disapeared and suddenly everything had become darkened and black. Before she went she had  thought of all the great times she had in her life. She did everything that she wanted, except watch her pups grow. Aniu didn't think she would ever see it, but her heart was filled with so much love that she had became the White Wolf of Alaska. Being the White Wolf she got to watch all her pups grow anytime she wanted. She also helped them find theirselves when they thought they would never fit in. She was a happy wolf and would have never dreamed about a better life than this.
